Gia Giudice is explaining why she is no longer working toward becoming a lawyer. During a March 2025 episode of her “Casual Chaos” podcast, the eldest daughter of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice explained that she was no longer willing to put money-making opportunities on hold to go into debt to finish school.
Guidice, 24, has been making money as an influencer since graduating from Rutgers University in 2023. In March 2025, she started her own podcast. On her March 25 podcast episode, she shared, “Starting to become more active on social media did not deter my love for the law, but it did deter my focus to becoming a lawyer.”
“If my heart was fully set on becoming a lawyer, I would have had to give up social media, give up everything I was doing, and honestly give up the money coming in,” she explained to fans, clarifying that she was being “real” about the situation. “So, at that point, I was like, ‘Am I really going to stop all of this right now?'”
Gia Giudice Has Not Ruled Out Law School At a Later Time
According to BravoTV.com, after Giudice graduated from Rutgers with a criminal justice degree she moved back home ahead of taking the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
Giudice spent a lot of time and money studying for the law school entrance exam before deciding to put the whole thing on hold. “The LSATs were hard,” she admitted on her podcast.“I was studying for a year and a half, spent over $5,000 on tutors.”
She also revealed that her tutor told her that being in law school and studying for the LSATs is ” a full-time job.” That comment prompted her to make a big decision about her future. “It was either, ‘Let’s make money and have a really good time’ or ‘Spend four more years in school and be in debt,'” she said. “It just didn’t make sense.”
“Don’t be mad at me, guys, for not becoming a lawyer. I still love it,” Giudice added. “The chapter is not closed. I can always pull a Kim [Kardashian] and go back to law school, do it part-time.”
Gia Giudice Could Follow in Her Mom’s Footsteps on Reality TV
Because she was living at home after college, Giudice was featured prominently in several RHONJ season 14 episodes, prompting some fans to question if Bravo was “soft launching” her as a cast member for a spinoff series.
On social media, fans speculated that Giudice was “putting law school on the back burner” to appear on TV. “I kinda thought she was trying to shy away from school when she started to appear on the show more and more with her mother,” one Reddit user wrote in early 2024.
In May 2024, Deadline reported that Bravo greenlit a reality series that would follow “a tight-knit group of friends navigating the trials and triumphs of young adulthood.” The teaser noted that some of the cast members “hail from the spotlight of well-known families.” It was later revealed that Giudice was one of the cast members on the show, tentatively titled “Making It in Manhattan.”
“I can’t give too many details, but it was a super fun show to film. And I can’t wait for you guys to see it,” Giudice teased on her mom’s “Turning the Tables” podcast in November.
