Kelsey Anderson is getting ready to dive into wedding planning with her love Joey Graziadei.
The couple got engaged during the season 28 finale of The Bachelor in March 2024. However, they weren't in any rush to head down the aisle and told PEOPLE that they wanted a "long engagement" shortly after the proposal.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Anderson revealed that the couple is starting to think about what the wedding will look like. They're also still not putting too much pressure on the whole process.
Although they initially were eying dates in the spring of 2026, they have now shifted their focus to the same time in 2027.

"We really don’t want to be stressed. We don’t want to just throw things together,” she told the outlet.
Planning is still in the very early stages, but Anderson already knows that they are after a certain aesthetic: “I definitely want our wedding to be pretty timeless,” she said. “I want it to be able, in 30 or 40 years, to look like it could be done then.”
The outlet noted that Anderson wasn't sure yet how involved Graziadei would be with planning, saying that he "might surprise her."
No matter what, though, the wedding will not just be about the bride.
“I want the wedding to be a part of both of us,” she told Sports Illustrated. “I know a lot of times the guys kind of let the lady take over, but I don’t know [about that]. I want it to be a representation of both of us equally.”

Speaking to PEOPLE in January 2025, Anderson said that her fiancé was likely to want an appropriately timeless look for their big day.
"I think he wants a bow tie and just very simple, black and white," she said while promoting her role as the face of David's Bridal Spring 2025 Bridal Collection.
As for what she would wear, she explained that she hadn't started the shopping process quite yet. However, modeling the gowns for the David Bridal campaign helped her get a sense of what she might want.
For the bride-to-be, it will be less about the style than how she feels in the dress.
"I think that I am going to pick whatever I feel most confident in," she said.

It'll be a big affair when she does start the process. She told PEOPLE that she'd be joined by some of her closest friends from New Orleans, her sisters Taylor and Jordan and Graziadei's sisters Carly and Eleanor
She also noted that she might get two dresses for her big day, especially since she'll need one to wear on the dance floor.
"I can have two different vibes, one that maybe is a little bit more elegant and big and floofy whenever I'm walking down the aisle, and then something just easier to dance in and have a good time whenever I'm at the reception," she rationalized.

While she said that she was "really excited to start planning," Anderson again stressed that they weren't rushing.
"We're not getting married this year, possibly next year or the following, because we got engaged so fast, we got engaged in two months," she said. "So we want to really take our time still getting to know each other and be really serious about the wedding, and we don't want it to be a stressful thing. We want to be able to enjoy the process of picking out the things that matter most to us in our wedding."
