For Andy Cohen’s 3-year-old daughter, Lucy, the highlight of day camp isn’t swimming, crafts or even the counselors.
When asked what she likes most, her answer is delightfully on brand for a toddler: “Pooping in the potty.”
“Pooping in the potty,” Cohen repeats with a smile, in an Instagram reel. “You’re so good at that.”
Next, the Bravo mogul wants to know if she’s made any friends yet. Lucy pauses, then informs her dad that she has not.
“I don’t want to,” she says matter-of-factly.
Pressed on why she doesn’t want to get to know the other children, Lucy offers a polite but pointed reminder that Cohen needs to begin the sentence with “please.”
He does, and she agrees that she will, in fact, make friends. Cohen beams, calling out, “Friends are one of the best parts about life.”
To celebrate Lucy’s third birthday in May, Cohen leaned into her most specific request with a cake decorated with the words, “In My Underwear Era.”
Cohen, who is also the father of 6-year-old Ben, spoke about Lucy’s toilet training experience during a June appearance on Jenna & Friends.
While they had already celebrated what he called her “diaper graduation,” he acknowledged they weren’t quite out of the woods just yet.
“I was always told that girls were smarter and they picked things up quicker,” Cohen said with a laugh. “She’s at the same glacial pace that her brother was at.”
Cohen, never one to hold back, steered the conversation to his own bodily quirks.
“Listen, I have a small bladder, now that we’re oversharing,” he continued. “I live in a doorman building. There’s a bathroom behind where the doormen work. It’s my favorite spot in New York City. It’s my safe zone when I can’t make it up in the elevator!”
