The Philadelphia Eagles have made a decision on whether their starters will play in the meaningless season finale against the New York Giants.
Head coach Nick Sirianni continued to be coy for a time regarding the important points heading into the playoffs.
But as of Wednesday, we know. And of course some Eagles fans are bothered by the decision.

But beyond fans who wanted to see Saquon keep piling on his 2,000-plus-yard season in pursuit of Eric Dickerson's all-time NFL rushing record, there is another twist here. ... something else that all Eagles fans should be wondering about.
It's Sirianni's surprising answer on 94.1 WIP, though, that has some people turning heads about the structure of the team, and who is really in control of the Eagles' roster.
"I'll talk to our staff, I'll talk to the players, I'll talk to [general manager] Howie [Roseman], I'll talk to Mr. Lurie. I'll talk to everybody to try and make sure I'm making the best decision for the football team," Sirianni said on Tuesday.
"What's the best thing for the team, and then also, what's the best things for the individuals going for the record?"
Wait...Sirianni is going to talk to the team's owner and general manager about roster decisions. Isn't that supposed to be his job?
While some fans and analysts may grow concerned about Sirianni's true involvement as head coach of the organization, they seem to be ignoring how Philadelphia has run things over the last decade.
Owner Jeffrey Lurie has always pushed for a collaborative approach to his organization. It's a big reason why the team is consistently successful, and always having their assistants poached.
It may not seem popular, but Sirianni's answer is just part of the course with the Eagles.
And why no gigantic decision is made without smart conversation involving the entire room together.
