Alexis Bellino Blames Editing for Coming Off Badly on RHOC, Says People Are 'Not Seeing the Truth' and Shades Bravo for Painting Her in a "Bad Light" to "Get Ratings," See Her Post as She Teases Live RecapsAlexis Bellino has reached her breaking point with the editing of the currently airing 18th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which has been centered around her romance with John Janssen, the former boyfriend of Shannon Beador.

After previously stating that she’s felt like the “villain” of the show, Alexis, 47, who got engaged to John, 60, last month after just nine months of dating, took to her Instagram page to accuse Bravo of portraying her negatively in an effort to increase ratings on their series as she also promised to share the truth in upcoming live recaps.

“I just want to let everyone know that what you’re seeing in my career is not real. It’s not the truth,” she wrote on September 21. “There has been so much left out intentionally to paint me in a bad light. It’s ok. I’ll take one for the team to get ratings for this business, but I will live in truth. And I will bring the truth. Whether I have to do it here on my Instagram page or if this career I chose decides to bring the truth out. Either way, it WILL come out. And you will also see the true Alexis. Because what you’re seeing on your TV right now is NOT me.”

As RHOC fans will recall, Alexis rejoined the show for season 18 just weeks after going public with her relationship with John, which many took as a diss aimed at Shannon, 60 — even though the two women were never friends.

Then, amid the season, Alexis brought up shocking videos that were taken the night of Shannon’s DUI and hit-and-run arrest, threatening to expose them as John sued his ex-girlfriend, claiming she owed him $75,000 for a facelift he paid for.

“I love you all, and I do not hate you for hating me. Because I would hate me too if I were you. But just hang tight, I’ll be speaking the truth after every episode of what has been left out intentionally to paint me as someone I don’t even know. It will actually intrigue you all,” Alexis continued.

Alexis then revealed that she would soon be uploading live recaps of each episode, starting with episode one, to her Instagram account.
