On August 6, 2022, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member tied the knot with Luis in New Jersey. Of course, her four daughters were in attendance, as well as a vast array of friends and family — and potentially the most iconic wedding hairdo of all time.
Since their relationship began in July 2020 (the pair first met at the Jersey Shore, naturally), Teresa and Louie have been inseparable. In fact, their wedding took place less than a year after Teresa confirmed her engagement to Louie after he popped the question in Greece (more on that!).

When did Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas get married?
Teresa and Louie tied the knot on August 6, 2022. On that day, there was a high of 90 degrees and the forecast predicted some light sprinkles. The event came about 12 months after Louie originally proposed to Teresa during a trip to Greece, they took along with Dina Manzo and her husband, Dave Cantin.
Where was Teresa Giudice's wedding?
Teresa got married at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey. “I wanted everybody to walk in and be wowed, like, ‘Oh my god, this is spectacular,’” she told New Jersey Bride magazine. “And that’s what they did when they walked in. They were wowed.”
The venue, a 15-acre palatial property, hosted 250-plus guests for the event — as well as a 16-piece band, a DJ, saxophonist Art Crichlow, drummer Tito Puente Jr, a sword swallower, stilt walkers, aerialists, and burlesque dancers.
At her wedding, Teresa walked down the aisle to "Ave Maria." "You look so beautiful," Louie told her when she reached him at the altar.
Details on Teresa Giudice's Wedding Hair
As you might recall, most of the chatter after Teresa's wedding involved her mile-high hairdo. Crafted by hairstylist Lucia Casazza, the towering hairstyle featured cascading curls and, as Casazza revealed in an interview with Andy Cohen for his Sirius XM radio show, cost nearly $10,000 to complete.
Some other important numbers? The style featured 1,500 bobby pins and a custom mesh piece made out of $7,000 worth of real human hair extensions. It also weighed a whopping three pounds and took three-and-a-half hours to complete.
According to a RHONJ confessional, she chose the style because Louie likes her hair away from her face.
During the wedding special, Teresa Gets Married, her daughters chatted about their mom's larger-than-life wedding hair. “Obviously, it’s big. Like, Queen Elizabeth probably has a crown like that,” Gia shared.
Gabriella agreed: “110 percent."
Teresa Giudice's Wedding Makeup
As for the rest of her glam, Teresa brought in the assistance of her longtime friend and makeup artist, Priscilla DiStasio.
After the wedding, DiStasio shared all the details behind the look via Instagram. Before makeup, she prepped Teresa’s skin with Shhh!...it's a secret! Glitter Collagen Gel Eye Pads, ERA Beauty Everyday Makeup Primer, Miami Gorgeous Vitamin C+Serum, and a product from Tatcha. Teresa’s face makeup consisted of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation and concealer, Laura Mercier setting powder, Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer, and a face palette by Scott Barnes. Blush from Jouer Cosmetics, Alexa Persico Cosmetics highlighter, Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer, and a Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder were the finishing touches.
Who designed Teresa Giudice's wedding dress?
The light pink gown was designed by Mark Zunino, who also designed the wedding dress worn by The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge when she married Eddie Judge years prior. Teresa's 2022 wedding dress featured a mermaid-style silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and flared ruffled skirt.
Before the wedding, the designer shared via Instagram that the gown featured “over 300 yards of hand-draped English netting.”
What role did Teresa Giudice's daughters have at her wedding?
Teresa's four gorgeous daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, who she shares with ex-husband Joe Giudice, were bridesmaids for the big day.
And not only were all four of Teresa's daughters by her side when she married Louie — they were wearing matching blush pink gowns, of course.

Was Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga invited to Teresa Giudice's wedding?
While Teresa's brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga were invited to the wedding, they chose not to attend which they also confirmed on social media.
“Of course that was hurtful,” Teresa said on Episode 16 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show Season 13. “That’s so childish. I would never do that.”
Melissa also gave the posts some context. “It was like the night before the wedding that they [were] posted," she explained. “Joe and I spent the day alone together that day, and he was really sad. Then my family called and they were all having a backyard barbecue party and just trying to show him, ‘We’re your family. You have family.’”
How much did Teresa Giudice's wedding cost?
According to a title card on RHONJ, the wedding cost $500,000 (yes, a half a million dollars). And, by the way, that accounts for the aerial dancers and gigantic tiered cake.
What did Teresa Giudice's wedding veil say?
For the big day, Teresa wore a custom blush mermaid gown by Mark Zunino Atelier. It was paired with a veil embroidered with the Italian phrase "Sempre Insieme" which means "always together." The message was included in honor of Teresa's late parents, Antonia and Giancanto Gorga.
"My mom would have loved [Louie]," shared Teresa during her Bravo wedding special. "My mom wanted me to be with someone who's so sweet to me, who treats me like a queen. I knew my soulmate was out there somewhere, and I'm glad I found him."
Besides the veil, Teresa complimented the gown with sheer beaded opera gloves and plenty of diamonds, including a tiara.
