On the podcast, Jenn, 26, revealed that she is engaged to someone after filming Season 21.

"I didn't know once you get engaged – once you find love, you can't take a shot," she said, quickly correcting herself.

She did not reveal her husband-to-be's identity, however.

Reality Steve previously released a blog speculating that this would be the result of the upcoming season.

During the podcast appearance, host Alex Cooper expressed a hope that Jenn would find love on the upcoming season.

"I'm hoping, I know you're not wearing a ring, but, like, we're obviously hoping you're engaged if that was what was meant to be," she said.

"I want to show you how serious I am," he started.

In a confessional, Sam revealed that he'd been waiting his "whole life" for this moment.

Jenn appeared to be fighting back tears before turning around to see Sam holding a handmade sign that read, "Jenn, will you be my first girlfriend?"

She answered emphatically.

"Yes," Jenn replied, rushing into Sam's arms.

It was announced in March that Jenn would be the next Bachelorette after she failed to find love on Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor.

She is the first Asian Bachelorette in the franchise's history.

CASTING CONTROVERSY
Prior to the announcement, it was revealed that Daisy Kent, 25, turned down the opportunity.

Producers reportedly initially selected Daisy, Joey's runner-up, but were forced to pick someone else when she declined.

Backlash ensured on social media, with fans calling out Jenn for being the producers' backup choice.

Jenn addressed the comments on Call Her Daddy, admitting that she was "disappointed" by fans' reactions.

She insisted on the show that fans did not know the full story.

"The show has been going on for years and years, 21 years of this show specifically, and every season there are multiple people in contention for the role.

She went on, "Multiple people are being interviewed or doing meetings about it all, doing fittings or filming intro packages.

"It's never really you until it's you. That's why I was a little disappointed."

Jenn also addressed claims that some of the fan chatter was rooted in racism.

"There's no running around it. I came back from filming and there was a lot of people wanting somebody else or wishing that I was American," she said on the podcast.

"There's a lot of racism around it too. There's just a lot of people who want to have input on it and wish that it was somebody else and whatnot. I think that you just can't win," she concluded.
