Celeb blogger B. Scott gets real about Kenya Moore’s ‘lowbrow’ ‘RHOA’ scandal

CANNES — Celebrity blogger B. Scott is getting real about Kenya Moore causing chaos while the next season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is in production.

The media maven — who uses they/them pronouns — spoke exclusively with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real at the 2024 Cannes Lions festival, sharing their hot takes on Moore’s oral sex poster scandal.

“I hate to believe that Kenya would do something flat on its face just like … ‘revenge porn.’ I would think, hope, pray to God that is not an accurate depiction of it,” explains Scott, who has solidified themself as the go-to source for “RHOA” news since the reality show’s 2008 inception.

The B. Scott Media Group founder, who considers Moore, 53, a “friend,” is concerned the drama will impact the Kenya Moore Hair Care creator’s entrepreneurial endeavors.

Scott, 43, emphasizes that Moore needs to “read the room” when — or if — she resumes filming the unscripted Bravo series after being indefinitely suspended over the situation.

“I just thought it was very lowbrow,” they say. “I thought it was something that felt definitely like something Kenya didn’t need to do. I don’t know to what level, to what extent it was done. But it was at a level that Bravo decided to suspend her.”

As Page Six exclusively reported, Moore shocked party attendees at her salon grand opening earlier this month with posters of series newcomer Brittany Eady allegedly performing oral sex.

Bravo cameras were rolling at the cast event, where Moore unveiled the explicit images. Eady, 36, was not present for the display.

An insider insisted to us that the explicit photos in question were “readily accessible” online and went on to claim that Eady had made threats to Moore using the word “gun” before the event.

However, a production source told us, “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production.”

We broke the news that Moore has since been suspended from filming.

After the scandal made headlines, she took to her Instagram Story to say, “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The truth always comes to light.”

She then added via X that she “would never engage in revenge porn” and has “never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.”

Scott, for their part, has chosen not to report on the debacle.

“I didn’t even investigate if it was real or not; I just didn’t cover it,” they admit. “Nothing about it was like, ‘Ooh, I want to run this story.’”

“RHOA” is returning for a 16th season with a mix of “Atlanta” vets and newbies.

The cast features returning stars Moore, Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora. Longtime “friend of” the cast Shamea Morton is picking up a peach for the first time as a full-timer, while Eady, author Kelli Ferrell and real estate mogul Angela Oakley will be making their debuts as “Housewives.”

The shakeup — which includes the departures of Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, Sanya Richards-Ross and Shereé Whitfield — comes after Season 15’s ratings slumped, causing fans to call for changes.

Scott seems unsure if it’ll be worth tuning in to the forthcoming installment.

“Nude photo scandals and situations? All of that to me is something that I don’t want any part of,” they say. “And it feels very, ‘This is not Atlanta “Housewives.”‘”

In the meantime, the online personality is enjoying their first time in the South of France for Cannes Lions.

Scott’s itinerary is packed with speaking engagements and events, including a hosting gig for the AYA Inclusion Awards and opening night party at Inkwell Beach on Monday.

On Tuesday, the self-proclaimed “Queen of Tea” is participating in a “Media Mavens: Leading Women in Media” panel at the Female Quotient Equality Lounge.

“It’s all so exciting,” Scott raves. “I feel so happy and blessed to be here. I’m loving it so far.”
