The truth will set her free.
“The Bachelorette” alum Trista Sutter said she plans to eventually reveal why she missed Mother’s Day when she was off the grid last month.
“I will share it as soon as I possibly can but, yeah, life is crazy right now,” said Trista, 51, on the June 5 episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast.

She continued, “It’s summertime right now with two teenagers who need to get jobs and get ready for their junior and sophomore years.”
Trista’s husband Ryan, 49, shared multiple bizarre posts on Instagram during her unexplained absence, which sparked concern from fans.
“I really wish I could talk to you,” Ryan wrote on Mother’s Day about his wife, with whom he shares two kids, Maxwell, 16, and Blakesley, 15.

Trista returned to social media on May 25 and joked about having a “nervous breakdown” when she was gone, but didn’t reveal the reason for her absence.
On the podcast, Trista said, “It felt good to be missed and to be cared for. But at the same time, people, gosh, make a lot of assumptions from one little thing.”
She also defended Ryan’s cryptic posts and clarified that their relationship is just fine.
“Moral of the story: life is good. Ryan and I are very happy,” she said.

Ryan first revealed that Trista was off the grid and was missing her with no further context one day before Mother’s Day.
“I want to know how you’re doing. I want to support and encourage and cheer you on. I want to be there for you. But I can’t,” he wrote on the holiday.

Days later, the firefighter addressed speculation that his longtime love had died.
“21 years ago I was pretty famous. I don’t have millions of followers and am not influencing anyone but for some reason, every now and then, people still pay attention,” he wrote on May 22. “Apparently that has recently been the case?”

Trista broke her silence during Memorial Day Weekend and clarified that she’s “safe and sound, happy and healthy, in love and grateful.”
She also called out the people who were being “critical” and “searching for darkness” in regard to her husband’s posts about her absence.

“He doesn’t owe anyone any explanation or require permission to post what he wants to post and share what he wants to share. If you want to know the rest of the story, I will share in due time,” she said.
The couple then took a family vacation to Mexico.
Fans speculated that Trista was filming a reality show, like “The Traitors” or “Special Forces,” when she was gone.
However, the cast for “The Traitors” Season 3 was announced June 5 — and Trista isn’t on the list.
