Skip Bayless remains obsessed with Tom Brady's role in Raiders not drafting Shedeur Sanders - suong

When it comes to Skip Bayless' obsession on how Tom Brady really viewed Shedeur Sanders during the 2025 NFL draft, he just needs to let it go.

During the draft, Bayless made it clear he believed that Brady, who is now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, told the team not to draft Sanders.

Brady has responded to Bayless while he was a guest on the "Impaulsive" podcast and denied being involved in any evaluation of the polarizing quarterback, who slid all the way to the fifth round of the draft to the Cleveland Browns.

"It's a good question," Brady said. "I wasn't a part of any evaluation process."

“Skip Bayless says otherwise,” co-host Mike Majlak responded.

“I know,” Brady replied. “That’s the problem with media is everyone can just say whatever the f*** they want.”

On Tuesday, Bayless was back at it again and is hellbent on getting Brady to admit that he did indeed tell the Raiders not to draft Shedeur.

"Tom, you're making me wonder. If you'd dodge the truth about Shedeur. Just own it, Tom, if you don't believe in Shedeur as an NFL QB for whatever reason," Bayless wrote on X.

It's certainly reasonable to suspect that Brady was part of the Sanders evaluation.

After all, general manager John Spytek and head coach Pete Carroll said they'd seek Brady out for advice before the draft, and owner Mark Davis admitted that Brady would have a "huge voice" in the franchise after he became part owner.

But, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter what Brady said or didn't say about Sanders and it's time for Bayless to just let it go.
