There’s quite a bit going on in the Southern Charm universe, with Craig Conover now being a single man. However, the rest of the cast is also doing a solid job of staying in the news. This is especially the case with Shep Rose, as he’s now revealing the reason behind his current break from model Sienna Evans. Not only that, but he also has a few revelations up his sleeve about Taylor Ann Green.
Fans will recall that Shep talked about Sienna in a recent episode of Southern Charm. In fact, he said that things were serious and that he thought she could be the one he’d settle down with. He also revealed that they met on a dating site at the time.
According to Bravo, Shep recently spoke about their break on an episode of the Two Ts In a Pod podcast. He said, “We took a little break because of something that happened.”
Shep went on, “I’ll tell you exactly. So I bought her her flight to Hilton Head and Charleston, the first two trips, and I was happy to do it, right? Then I went down to Nassau, and she was very generous. She got me a hotel room at the Baha Mar, and, boy, we had fun. The Bahamas was amazing.”
He then describes another trip they had planned where she was supposed to come and visit him. However, she didn’t buy her plane ticket when she was supposed to. Shep explained, “She was like, ‘Hey, I’ve been really busy. Will you just get my flights?’ … I said yeah, OK, and I bottled it up. And then after the weekend, I said something to her… I said, ‘I really need to get this off my chest… I just don’t appreciate the way that was handled. I made a lot of plans, and I took care of everything… Just meet me somewhere in the middle or near the bell curve somewhere, because I’m not a desperate man who’s flying girls around.'”
Shep went on to say that Sienna Became “indignant” and told him, “Where I come from, the man takes care of everything.”
He continued, “That’s a bad thing to think and to practice, frankly. So anyhow, I was like, maybe we should take a step back, and she was like, ‘Yeah, OK.'”
Shep also revealed that he asked her if she would instill similar sentiments in the young girls and women she mentors regarding gender roles.
According to Entertainment Now, Shep also discussed his relationship with Taylor. Specifically, her comments about his performance in the bedroom came up, and Shep didn’t take too kindly to what she had to say. Notably, she said that his future partners shouldn’t “expect to finish.”
He responded by saying, “I would never comment on anybody in bed on national television.”
He then says that he has reason to believe that Taylor was happy with their relationship despite their issues. According to him, “That’s ridiculous. I mean, she wanted me to ask her to marry her.”
Regarding where they stand today, Shep says, “I want all the best for her. I want all these good things to happen for her.” However, he also acknowledges that he wasn’t always the best to her when they were together.
Shep recalled, “I definitely put her through some [expletive.]” They aren’t currently friends, and he says, “That’s not my choice.”
