OUTNUMBERED parents Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner secretly married three years ago - after falling in love in real life.
The Sun was first to reveal how the BBC telly couple had taken their romance off-screen back in 2018.
The pair, who played stressed-out parents Pete and Sue Brockman in the hit BBC show, got together after their individual marriages broke down.
Now it has been confirmed how the "real life love story" has notched up a level after they tied the knot.
Hugh and Claire, who live in a £1.5million townhouse in London, said I Do in Westminster in 2022.
A source has now said: "This is a real TV love story.
"They delighted fans when they fell in love outside of the show, having managed to keep it quiet."
Talking of the wedding reveal, a source added to MailOnline: "They are a low-key couple who wanted to keep this special for them.
"Only their family and close friends have known."
Hugh was spotted wearing his wedding ring on ITV daytime show Lorraine while Claire showed off her wedding band ahead of the 2024 Christmas special.
Previously, a friend told The Sun of their emerging relationship and said: "
“They were going through marriage breakdowns at very similar times, but it was quite a while after their separations that they got together last year.
“Between the end of the last series of Outnumbered in 2014 and the Christmas special in 2016, they didn’t actually see each other for two years.
“They’ve always been really friendly but they were living their own lives until they were both single.”
OPENING UP
Last year, The Sun exclusively reported how the Outnumbered kids were stunned by the "surreal" reveal by their on-screen parents.
Tyger-Drew Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez played the three Brockman kids - Jake, Ben and Karen.
Speaking exclusively backstage to The Sun, they discussed learning about on-screen parents Hugh and Claire's real-life romance.
As Ramona agreed it had been surreal, Daniel added: "It was great news, to be honest.
"We've known both of them for a long time.
"You can imagine, we're on a set with three kids and for a lot of the time, they're the only two adult actors.
"We had separate green rooms. They get on so well, the chemistry's so real.
"So happy for them."
Ramona added: "My mum said, 'Can't they adopt you and now you can make a real-life Outnumbered family."
