Shannon Beador swears she had nothing to do with Alexis Bellino getting axed from “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” following their season-long feud.
“I have zero power with the network or production or anyone, and I would never want to interfere with someone’s livelihood,” Beador, 60, told Us Weekly in a recent interview.
Beador then threw subtle shade at Bellino, who during the Season 18 reunion called herself a “TV star.”
“Alexis Bellino is a TV star, and she’s been a TV star for 15 years,” Beador sarcastically noted, “so I’m sure she’ll get a new gig sometime very soon.”
Last month, Bellino, 48, announced that she had been fired from “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“I was not asked back next season,” the Bravolebrity said on the “Going Rogue” podcast.
Bellino was a full-time cast member on Seasons 5 through 8 and then returned last year as a “friend of” the cast for Season 18.
Bellino admitted during the podcast episode that she was not surprised by the pink slip.
“I can’t say it came as a shock. It did not come as a shock,” she said of her “hard conversation” with the network.
Her highly anticipated return to the show last season was overshadowed by her messy feud with Beador that involved legal and relationship drama.
Bellino’s fiancé, John Janssen, was previously in a relationship with Beador. After Janssen and Beador broke up, he claimed that she had stiffed him on a loan for a $75K facelift.
The two eventually settled and Page Six exclusively reported that Beador was “relieved” the legal ordeal was over.
“She never wanted this situation with Shannon and John to come between them and she’s glad they can just close this chapter and put it in the past,” an insider revealed.
