Kaitlyn Bristowe slams ex Jason Tartick for using her dream baby name for his new dog

Kaitlyn Bristowe slammed her ex-fiancé Jason Tartick as “pathetic” and “mean” for using her “dream baby name” for his new rescue dog.

“I’m making this clear — it’s not that I’m not over him,” the “Bachelorette” alum said on her “Off the Vine” podcast.

“But to get a dog and name that dog my dream baby name that I’ve had in my baby names for 10 years — I even have a text that says to him, I said, the day I met him, ‘I want to name my baby Teddy.'”

Bristowe, 39, doubled down that she’s “very much” over Tartick, 36, after breaking up with him in August 2023 after four years together.

“I did not want to be in that, it felt icky to me. I did not want to be in it,” the reality star continued.

“I know I seem very angry, but it’s more like, I don’t like feeling disrespected,” she added.

“And I just have so many gross feelings from that, because for so long I was made to feel crazy, and now I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m not crazy. I just saw what other people are seeing now.'”

Bristowe addressed Tartick’s new dog after he announced via Instagram that he had adopted a golden retriever last month.

“My new best buddy needs a name!” he wrote alongside a photo of himself and his dog. “I have a few favorites for him, but before I decide, I’d love to hear your ideas.”

Tartick added, “The rescue named him ‘Rango,’ which I like, but I’m considering something different. Let me know what names you think would work for him!”

At the time, several followers suggested the names “Teddy” and “Nash.”

A few days later, Tartick announced he settled on “Teddy Tartick.”

“He smiles like a Teddy, has paws like a bear!” he captioned a photo of himself and Teddy. “I’ll have to work on nicknames, maybe Teddy T, Ted or maybe even Bear when he’s acting up.”

Reps for the “Trading Secrets” podcast host weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
