Taylor Armstrong appeared on Jeff Lewis‘ SiriusXM radio show last week, where she confirmed she, Shannon Beador, and Tamra Judge were excluded from Heather Dubrow‘s birthday earlier this year.
After being asked if she and Heather were able to move past their season 17 tension, the Real Housewives of Orange County “friend” said that after spending the holidays with Heather, she learned half the cast had been left off the guest list for Heather’s multiple birthday events.
“I thought it was resolved and then we all had holiday dinner together, well Tamra and Shannon didn’t come. So it was [Gina Kirschenheiter], [Emily Simpson], [Jennifer Pedranti], and myself, and Heather, of course, and everything was great,” Taylor recalled on the August 4 episode of Jeff Lewis Live. “I sat next to her. We had holiday dinner and then Heather’s birthday rolled around in January, so not that long after the holidays, and she threw herself a few birthday parties… And she invited everyone except for Tamra, Shannon, and myself.”
According to Taylor, the rest of the RHOC cast, including Gina, Emily, and Jennifer, was invited. However, the only person she knows for sure that attended Heather’s birthday party was Emily.
“But here’s the thing: It’s like here, right? You’re in an office,” she said of Jeff’s workplace. “If I worked for [an accounting firm], if I’m having a party, a birthday party and I invite the whole office except for two or three people, it reminds me of when you’re in first grade and someone hands out invitations to everyone and then exclude people.”
Taylor continued shading Heather’s childish antics by adding, “It’s not professional.”
And Jeff agreed, saying, “It’s like a bullsh-t, high school, mean girl move.”
“One hundred percent,” Taylor replied. “Because we work together. We’re in business together. It’s not just like, catty girl fight.”
While Taylor may have thought she and Heather were on good terms with one another earlier this year, prior to the airing of season 17, Heather accused Taylor of using her for a storyline on the June 23 episode of Hollywood Life‘s Pay Attention, Puh-Lease podcast amid their feud over a movie role.
“I went to Taylor’s, we had this really great day where we worked on her script and I read with her and we had this great time and I left on a high. And then you see a piece of this, but some of us went shopping, and I started to get an idea that this was becoming a thing, which shocked me,” Heather explained.
Then, days later, on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Taylor made it clear that all was not well between them when she slammed Heather as her “least trustworth” castmate.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
