Dorit Kemsley called her estranged husband PK a 'full-blown alcoholic' as she discussed the 'toxic' fights that led to their split on Tuesday's premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Fans were shocked as the reality TV star, 48, lit up a cigarette after telling her co-star Erika Jayne, 53, about their separation on the first episode of Season 14, titled Grace Time is Over.
'P.K. and I have agreed to separate,' Dorit shared, prompting Erika to tear up at the news and hug her. 'It's sad and it's hard,' the star went on. 'It's also no secret we've had a really rough couple of years.'
Dorit then shared that she and PK deal with issues 'differently' stating, 'PK was pouring alcohol on his. It got very, very, very toxic.'
'Over the years, it's gotten progressively worse, and little fights will turn into blow-ups. We would be in the gutter after a fight, screaming at one another. I don't want that toxic energy around small children.'
She also admitted the pair were no longer having sex.

She said that PK — with whom she shares son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, eight — has 'always' been a drinker.
Dorit — who announced her separation from PK in May after nine years of marriage — said she told PK that he needed to 'dry out.'
After PK went on a sobriety 'journey', their relationship seemed seemed to improve, with Dorit remembering how, at the time, she told reunion host Andy Cohen that the two were doing 'better than ever.'
When Erika asked what happened to change that, Dorit said it wasn't just 'one thing.'
'[There] was no catastrophic event. No one cheated on anyone,' she explained
'A week ago, there was a moment and it was over nothing, and one thing led to another, and we sat down like two very mature adults who love and care about one another, and mutually decided that taking some space and separating is the best thing for us.'
'We're taking it day by day, but we are separated. There's no time on it, but there's work to do,' she added.
Erika then said she was going to see Kyle Richards, 55, so Dorit asked her not to share her news.
Later in the episode, Dorit — who's still on the outs with Kyle — spoke about her marriage woes with Kathy Hilton, who was seen at her house getting an IV and having her hair done at the same time.
She said she still loved the English businessman 'very much,' but that they needed to put in 'work' to achieve a 'healthy, happy, peaceful marriage.'

Dorit seemed doubtful on whether PK would be willing to put in the effort, and said he has 'avoidance issues.'
Dorit also shared that they had no plans to share the news with their two children at the moment.
'We can be doing things as a family, like we're not in a toxic place. He's got a sober coach that I'm not privy to,' she said, before claiming, 'He's a full-blown alcoholic.'
Dorit also shared she 'wouldn't have chosen this route' and wanted to 'work' things out.
'I chose to stick by PK's side through a bunch of public scrutiny, like the bankruptcy, gambling debts, the suspected DUI. But for PK, it's "Poof! Let's just get a separation."'
'Isn't there a way to meet in the middle? Obviously, but not with someone like PK. It's black, it's white, it's extreme.'
Kathy asked if they still had sex and Dorit said no.
Meanwhile PK was seen getting some advice from Kyle's estranged husband Mauricio Umansky during a lunch outing.
'I’m not good,' he told Mauricio.
'You’ve been through a big day today,' Mauricio said. 'I’ve been separated now for nearly a year. You know and I’ve recently moved out. During this process you are going to have hard days, you’re going to have easier days.'
PK shared that getting sober allowed him to see the pair needed some time apart.

'We can be doing things as a family, like we're not in a toxic place. He's got a sober coach that I'm not privy to,' she told Kathy, before claiming, 'He's a full-blown alcoholic'
'I got sober. I got clear, and I realized that we were just taking bites out of each other the whole f*****g time,' he said.
'I had a lot of resentment. Dorit isn't the most able to listen, she's not.'
PK then said the pair had grown apart over the years, and recalled how they used to be 'like f*****g Bonnie and Clyde' before 'life got in the way.'
He also mentioned Dorit had issues with him being away for long periods of time on business.
'She could say, "Well, you were away." And I could say, "Well, I was working trying to sustain the lifestyle that Dorit and I live, and also to sustain her ambition,"' he added.
'From my perspective, I wanted to know how much of our problems were me, how much were her? And what can we change? What I realized is, I can't recover this. [So] we put some space in between us.'
In April it was reported that PK moved out of their Los Angeles house and was staying at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel alone, amid their marriage woes.

While announcing her separation in May, Dorit wrote they are taking 'some time part' to 'reevaluate' their relationship in a statement posted to her Instagram.
'We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.
'To safe guard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.'
'We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.'
The pair have been married since 2015.
Elsewhere in the episode Kyle revealed that her husband Mauricio moved out a week ago, and that with him gone she didn’t even know how to turn the TV on, or turn music on.
'This is not what I expected my life to be,' Kyle said while crying in a confessional.
Richards and Umansky were married for 27 years and welcomed three daughters — Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16 — before announcing their separation last July
Later Erika stopped by Kyle's house and said she was just with Dorit. Kyle admitted she hadn’t seen Dorit since the reunion, and that she was completely shocked that Dorit read her private text message during the show and accused her of trying to 'publicly embarrass me.'
'You guys have to talk,' Erika said.
Kyle stated that if Dorit talks but doesn’t listen she will 'lose it.'
Later the show shifted to Thursday May 9th at 12:56 p.m. when the news publicly broke that Dorit and PK had separated.
Kyle called Erika and she felt so bad for Dorit. 'What went wrong?' Kyle wondered.
Later Kyle FaceTimed Kathy and said she didn’t know if she should send a message to Dorit. She said Dorit would call her messages 'manipulative.'
'I’m not a doormat,' Kyle said.
The episode opened with Sutton Stracke, 53, going over to Jennifer Tilly, 66, with the duo speaking about throwing a Salvador Dali surrealist themed party.
Sutton said she realized that she hadn’t been the best friend to Kyle last year, and that they met up and repaired their friendship.
Meanwhile, Garcelle Beauvais, 57, was in Atlanta working on two movies where she was an executive producer. Her son Oliver, 33, stopped by to see her and brought his new girlfriend Shantei with him.
Later in the episode the ladies got dressed for Sutton’s surrealist themed party. There was an alpaca, a monkey and swimmers in the pool. Jennifer arrived wearing a black swan outfit. Sutton wore antlers on her head. Dorit wore a metallic disc as a hat.

Dorit, who was still wearing her wedding rings, said she felt that Kyle just tossed her aside. Kyle said she wanted them to get to the other side of their issues
New housewife Bozoma 'Boz' Saint John, 47, arrived wearing a long white dress. She told Dorit that she just retired after working as the Chief marketing executive at Netflix and as Brand officer at Uber. Dorit told her that she and PK just separated.
'He is an alcoholic and he’s actually on the journey of sobriety,' Dorit said. 'Doing the steps in the program.'
Boz said she was a widow but that ten years into her marriage she also separated from her husband. She said her husband later died of cancer.
Garcelle said hi to Dorit when she arrived, but Dorit ignored her.
'The last time I saw Garcelle she implied that my home invasion was faked,' Dorit said.
Kyle and Erika drove to the party together. Kyle told Erika she was nervous. Garcelle sat down with them and Kyle told her that Mauricio moved out. Kyle said with all the stories in the tabloid about her and singer Morgan Wade and she wanted to talk about it with everyone.
'Right now there is nothing to say,' Kyle said.
'So you are not with her?' Garcelle asked.
'No we are not,' Kyle said. 'The tabloids created an enormous amount of pressure.'
Kyle said she was just figuring things out about herself.
'I have never ever questioned my sexuality in my life,' Kyle said in a confessional. 'But I think all of the crazy speculation actually did make me think twice.'
Kyle said she didn’t want her children to be angry or embarrassed by her. Just then Dorit walked over and said hi. She sat down with the group and so did Boz and Sutton. Kyle and Dorit sat there but neither of them spoke to each other.
Later she pulled Dorit aside. She told her she was sorry with what was going on between her and PK.
'I know we both have a lot of hurt and we both have a lot of different feelings and thoughts about what happened,' Kyle said.
Dorit, who was still wearing her wedding rings, said she felt that Kyle just tossed her aside. Kyle said she wanted them to get to the other side of their issues.
'Well let’s try to start because I think it’s going to take a long time, Kyle,' Dorit said. 'Let’s be honest and actually talk about real stuff.'
Kyle said she didn’t think she was even acting like herself anymore. The show ended with To Be Continued.
