Braunwyn Windham-Burke is responding to a recent rumor suggesting she offered cocaine to Shannon Beador‘s daughter Stella.
Following the release of the dramatic trailer for the Real Housewives of Orange County season 15 reunion, which featured Braunwyn being confronted about a shocking conversation that had supposedly taken place between her and the child, who was just 14-years-old at the time, she’s speaking out about a recent report, which claimed the topic of their conversation was drugs.
“Please tell me Shannon is lying about her child. I haven’t really been watching the show because I hate Kelly. You are one of my favorites! Please tell me Shannon is full of it about drugs and her child,” a fan wrote in the comments section of one of Braunwyn’s photos on Instagram.
“I honestly have no idea, I was drinking at the time,” Braunwyn admitted, according to a screenshot shared by Best of Bravo on Instagram.
According to Braunwyn, she heard about her supposed encounter with the teenager after the fact, but she claims that the account of the events changed in the years since it occurred.
“I’ve heard from her what happened and made amends, I’ve since heard a very different version of what happened which isn’t at all what she said from someone I trust though,” she alleged.
In a second message shared to Braunwyn’s Instagram Stories, the mother-of-seven said that despite the many lies that are being told about herself and her husband, Sean Burke, the two of them are staying focused on their family as they continue on with their “open marriage” following Braunwyn’s reveals of being an alcoholic and a lesbian.
“[Eighty percent] of what we read about ourselves are lies, we’ve learned to tune out the noise and focus on what matters most, friends and family!” she wrote in the caption of a photo of herself and Sean.
After the RHOC reunion trailer was released last week, All About the Tea shared alleged details about what had reportedly happened between Braunwyn and Stella.
“Braunwyn approached Shannon Beador’s daughter, Stella, and offered her cocaine and asked if she wanted her dealer’s number,” an insider alleged. “Braunwyn told the 14-year old at the time that if she needs coke, she has the best drug dealer in the area.”
“This is the shocking event that happens at the season 15 reunion that leaves everyone’s jaws on the floor and Braunwyn crying and saying ‘I am so sorry….I am so sorry,’” the insider claimed.
In the nearly two-minute sneak peek at the reunion, Braunwyn’s conversation with Stella was teased as cast member Elizabeth Vargas said that the details of Shannon’s story were “horrific.”
The two-part Real Housewives of Orange County season 15 reunion special begins airing Wednesday, January 20, at 9/8c on Bravo.
