Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak’s divorce lawyers placed a lien against her Georgia mansion over unpaid legal fees, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to official records obtained by In Touch, the law firm Snider & Snider PC, along with attorney Rachel Snider, filed an attorney’s lien against Kim’s seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom, 15,694 square-foot mansion.

Kim, 46, and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann listed the home for $6 million in October 2023 following their split. The home has sat on the market for months with no bites. The couple slashed the price multiple times in an effort to attempt buyers.

The couple has moved out of the home as the bank moves forward with a foreclosure.

The attorney’s lien claims Kim owes Snider & Snider a total of $55,143 as of October 25. The firm said the amount owed is for work done on Kim’s divorce from Kroy, 39.

The lien will allow the firm to collect on the $55,000 owed once the home is sold. Snider & Snider filed a separate lien against the property over $77,000 owed earlier this year.

The debt seems to have decreased since the first filing. Another attorney from a separate law firm, David Beaudry, also filed an attorney’s lien against the property over $33,000 owed by Kim.

The liens have yet to be released and remain active in Georgia.

Kim and Kroy have yet to settle their nasty divorce battle. The couple have been in and out of court since May 2023.

At the time, Kim and Kroy filed separate divorce petitions demanding support and primary custody of their minor children.

The split turned ugly quick. Kim accused Kroy of smoking marijuana and demanded he be drug tested.

Kim’s lawyer said his client had “seen [Kroy] smoking marijuana, and she has serious concerns for the safety and well being of the minor children while in [Kroy’s] care. She is fearful that the children will be exposed to [Kroy’s] drug use.” Kroy denied the accusations. He accused Kim of having a problem with spending money and gambling. He asked that Kim be ordered to submit to a psychological evaluation.

The ex-NFL star claimed Kim had been “spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance.”

His lawyer said, “This compulsion has financially devastated the parties. [Kim’s] time is so consumed with online gambling that she is unable to properly care for the children.” Kim denied the claims.

The duo dismissed their divorce petitions months later and decided to work on their marriage. The reconciliation didn’t last long. In August 2023, Kroy filed for divorce a second time.

On top of the court drama, the couple have called police numerous times to complain about the other’s behavior. A judge ordered them to sleep in separate areas of the home and to avoid each other while living in the same house.

As part of a lawsuit to prevent their home from being foreclosed on, Kim told the court, “We strongly believe that the proceeds from its sale can help alleviate our financial difficulties and secure a stable future for our children. However, the impending threat of foreclosure is looming over us, and time is of the essence.”

“Kroy and I will face insurmountable financial hardships, and the most devastating consequence will be the impact on our children, who would be left homeless,” she said.

The fight is ongoing.
