Love Island star Mitch Taylor, otherwise known by fans as Messy Mitch, has been slated by fans after stirring up drama in the comments of his co-star Whitney Adebayo's latest Instagram post.
Whitney, 27, who appeared on the 2023 series alongside Mitch, caused confusion when she posted an emotional reel on Wednesday captioned: 'Chapter 1 - New Beginnings'.
She filmed herself moving into a new house and explained in the voiceover how she's hoping for a new beginning, which some fans took to mean her relationship had ended with Lochan Nowacki.
However, Lochan, who she met on Love Island, was still in the video and seemingly confirmed they were still together by writing in the comments: 'Proud of you always and for this new chapter my love ❤️ let’s gooo.'
But, Mitch added fuel to the fire by questioning: 'Have you and Lochan broken up? I am confusion.'
Other viewers rushed to reply to the Love Island star, quipping: 'Out of everyone you shouldn’t be here to drop your cent ….. messy boy.'

But Mitch was not the only one who was confused as others also questioned Whitney and Lochan's relationship status in the comments.
They wrote: 'I Dont understand this post? I'm not sure what you are trying to convey. Why is Lochcan picture the first shot?'
'Please don't tell me that you and @lochan_nowacki have split up! When you said you were moving into a new home I was hoping it was both of you together!'
'So did they break up?'
'I hope Lochan is coming with you.'

In the video's voiceover, Whitney said: 'It's strange how you can wake up and realise that everything you once loved isn't enough anymore.

'Hey, my name is Whitney and today I've decided to become her. I wish I could tell you that I'm excited about this new beginning, but honestly, I'm scared of what's next.
'The older I get, the more I realise how expensive the woman I want to become is. She's cost me friends, time and comfort.'
She continued: 'It feels like it comes in a constant cycle of having to change. Today was supposed to be a happy day when I moved into my first home.
'But I can't help but dwell on what I'm leaving behind.
'I know this step is going to be hard but it gives me peace that I'm one step closer to becoming her.
I've wasted so much time waiting for that perfect moment to wear the dress or for a Monday to restart my gym journey.'
Whitney then revealed she took herself on a date and asked her followers to follow along her new journey.
