When it comes to top divisions in the NFL, the NFC East is one of the most physical and unlucky ones over the last few seasons.
As of this moment, the Philadelphia Eagles have taken a stranglehold on the division with their latest wins over the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Commanders.
While Philadelphia's run in the East is considered positive, recent developments have shown that their lead against their foes has left them in a difficult state - especially with the latest quarterback changes as well.
With the Cowboys announcing Dak Prescott would be moved to injured reserve, and the New York Giants opting to bench Daniel Jones, Philadelphia has two of their division opponents on backup quarterbacks moving forward.
It, of course, could be seen as a positive, but the reality isn't what is may seem.
You see, the Cowboys have two games upcoming against the Washington Commanders - the second-place team in the East. Philadelphia has not won the division yet, and any easy win for Washington is a bad thing for the Birds.
Then there's the Giants.
Both New York and Dallas are in a position where the organizations could struggle so much this season that it allows them to have a top overall pick in the upcoming draft.
With poor quarterback play, the Eagles could very well be taking on the top rookie quarterback from the 2025 class for New York, and a top overall player for Dallas.
Neither situation is great at this point for Philly.
