The New York Rangers have dipped into Hartford to call up Victor Mancini from the Wolfpack.Tonight he will face off against the Edmonton Oilers, and Connor McDavid one of the best players in the NHL.
Mancini went through a short stay in the AHL before the Rangers came calling once again. Which can be a great thing, but I'm sure the constant traveling could wear on him.
Again a small price for the young defenseman to pay, when he gets another look at the Rangers' bottom-pairing tonight.
Mancini addressed Mollie Walker of the NHL Network at another opportunity in the NHL.
He sounds ready to grab the brass ring and find a way to make a difference tonight, despite the lack of rest.

Mancini only played 3 games in Hartford and would tally a goal before being called back up to New York.
