“Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay has opened the doors to her stunning new $2.5 million “dream home” in Los Angeles, months after she and husband Brock Davies closed on the stunning property.
In a video posted on her YouTube account, Shay, 39, offers viewers a glimpse inside her homebuying process, documenting her search for the perfect family home for herself, her husband, and their daughter, Summer Moon.
The video shows Shay—who has starred on the hit Bravo show since 2013—touring two homes in Sherman Oaks, CA, the first of which she admits she made an offer on, before even seeing it.
But despite falling head over heels for the home, the reality TV star says she was reluctant to admit she “loved” it because several other offers had already been made on it.
“Well, I definitely like it but I don’t want to love it because there are other offers, so I’m not going to get too ahead of myself just yet,” she says. “But it is beautiful.”
The stunning home certainly has plenty to offer Shay and her family, with the Bravolebrity showcasing its beautiful backyard—which had a separate studio apartment with its own bathroom—before moving inside the main home.
Features included a spacious living room with a fireplace and a main bedroom with an en suite bath complete with a rain shower.
Having grown fearful that the property would end up being sold to a different buyer, Shay moved on to another home, which she actually ended up loving even more.
“So we’re in the second house,” she explains. “I had a feeling when we were in Australia that I might like this one more when I came to see it. And my feeling is right. ”
Stepping into the backyard with a pool and spa, she notes, “This one we would need to turf for sure, but I love that it has a hot tub and a little balcony off the bedroom. I really like it.”
Walking inside, she urges viewers to “look at the kitchen,” while turning the camera to an open cook space with a huge island.
Heading upstairs, she walks into the main bedroom with his-and-her closets and quips cheekily, “Will I give one to Brock? Comment below.”
However, the en suite bath gets a squeal of approval.
“The bathroom is a dream! The shower, the tub, the his and her sinks,” she gushes.
She moves on to the “cute little A-frame” that will be her daughter Summer’s room. There’s even an adjoining room “if, if another kid comes into the picture.”
An upstairs laundry room is another nice perk. She concludes, “We’re putting in an offer. Wish me luck!”
The next scene shows Shay hanging a giant photo of herself and Brock in the entryway, announcing, “I felt like it wouldn’t be a true first time in the home without a giant canvas of ourselves here.”
Then she addresses Brock off camera, saying, “Yay, honey, you’re home.”
Pointing to various places where she imagines a piano and two couches, she adds, “We’ll figure it out.”
Records reveal that the home is a five-bedroom, five-bath spread with 3,839 square feet.
Highlights of the 2016 build include a custom staircase, 3D feature wall, single-slab marble counters, plantation shutters, and a stone veneer fireplace in the living room.
The gourmet kitchen comes with a huge center island, pot filler, and Viking appliances. The walk-in pantry includes a wine fridge.
Meanwhile, the family room with French doors flows to an outdoor area with a pool and spa.
Upstairs, the primary suite features two large walk-in closets, a cozy fireplace, and a soaking tub and dual vanity.
Other perks include a smart home technology and alarm/security monitoring.
The property also comes with a fully finished garage and is in a “limited access neighborhood.” Plus, it’s convenient to Ventura Boulevard, with its shops and cafes.
