Ramona Singer is one of the most controversial stars from The Real Housewives of New York City. Still, she manages to keep her name in the press, even if it’s not for the best of reasons. Now, the former reality television star is opening up about her pal Sonja Morgan, and she’s also discussing the idea of doing a full-fledged RHONY Legacy series.

Sonja, 61, has been embroiled in quite a bit of concerning personal drama lately. Not only did she allegedly skip out on a $1,000 restaurant tab, but she was also recently hauled away from a restaurant on a stretcher in Florida.

Ramona, 68, was in attendance for the Fountain of Youth premiere in New York City, and she stopped for a short interview with Entertainment Tonight. She was asked about Sonja. The RHONY alum started by saying that they text and that the press only likes to write negative things. Ramona then said, “Sonja’s fine, she’s great, she’s doing well.”

The reporter went on to ask specifically about Sonja’s health. Ramona replied, “She’s in great health. I only wish the best for her.” Regarding Sonja’s most recent incident, she stated that she called 911 because an elderly patron she was with needed medical attention. Despite this, reports from the police don’t mention anyone else being involved, and they state that Sonja was given a trespass warning, which she did not sign.

The interviewer also pressed Ramona about the latest news concerning RHONY. For context, recent reports say the show is on pause, but Andy Cohen has vehemently denied these claims, stating that they are actively casting.

According to Ramona, “I really don’t know. I mean, you have to leave it up to Bravo.” She continued, “Bravo is a fantastic network. Everyone loves Bravo, and we have to stick by whatever their decisions are.” Ramona was then asked if she was surprised by the most recent news about the show’s status. She responded, “Bravo knows what they’re doing, so if they’re doing that, there must be a good reason, right?”

From there, the interviewer asked if she had any interest in rejoining. Ramona replied, “No, I have my best life ever now, and I loved doing it. I loved doing RHONY. It was such an experience. I would repeat it all over again, but you know, I’m doing golf, and tennis, and traveling, and working out. I never looked better and never felt better.”

Fans can watch Ramona and the ladies on episodes of RHONY on Peacock.
