Dianne Buswell has been flooded with messages after sharing her boyfriend Joe Sugg's adorable move with fans following the Bafta Television Awards with P&O Cruises.
The Strictly Come Dancing couple attended the pretigious ceremony together last Sunday (May 11) as the stars of the small screen descended in the sunshine on London's Royal Festival Hall.
On the night, Dianne was nominated for the memorable moment award, alongside her celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland as their Waltz to the Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone, which they reprised in the Strictly final, earned them the nomination.
They were then seen being named at the recipient of the gong, which is voted for by the public, during the ceremony with Dianne collecting the award solo, with an emotional Joe watching from the audience, as Chris had commiments with his stand-up tour, Yonks!
Accepting their award, Dianne said on stage: "In one minute and 30 seconds of a dance, I feel like this told such a story. A story of hope, determination, resilience and vulnerability, all in that one minute 30." She added: "This moment meant so much to the both of us, so I’m just so thrilled that we have this."
Dianne mentioned that Chris had prepped her with something to say on his behalf just in case they won as she said: "Chris did have something he wanted me to say, and that is ‘After 22 years in comedy, he wins a Bafta for dancing,"' before joking that he said it "hurts".
Dianne has since been sharing social media posts celebrating her and Chris' latest achievement, after winning Strictly's 2024 series back in December.
On TikTok, the dancer shared a video in which she could be seen posing with her award alongside a huge golden Bafta statue, still in her gorgeous sparkly blue ball gown which boasted a halter neck and open back design.
Across the clip, a message read: "POV: It's 1am and your bf is still taking videos of you when you get back to the hotel because he's so proud of you [face holding back tears and red heart emojis]." She also captioned the post: "Dianne Buswell TikTok."
It comes after Dianne was heard talking about starting a family with Joe, who she met when they were paired together on Strictly in 2018.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I would like to have children, 100 per cent. Joe and I love kids, and that’s definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven’t really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen."
But the pair do already have their hands full as they are already auntie and uncle to their siblings’ children. Dianne said: "Joe’s got two nieces who I also class as my nieces, and then I have another two nieces and two nephews in Australia, and my oldest niece is 15.
"I am a big fan of my little nieces and nephews. I love kids, I love working with them and being around them. Sometimes, I’m a big kid at heart myself. I think it helps when you can get down to their level. I’m very lucky."
