Paige DeSorbo Reveals Who Convinced Her To Join ‘Summer House’-quang

Paige DeSorbo joined the cast of “Summer House” in 2019, just before the start of Season 3. And while she has shown throughout the past six seasons that she is a perfect fit, DeSorbo wasn’t so sure at first.

During an interview with The New York Times that was published on April 6, DeSorbo revealed that she didn’t think she would be right for Bravo’s hit show.

“I called my dad crying when they offered it to me because I was like, ‘I think I’m actually too sensitive to do this,’” DeSorbo told The New York Times. “And I remember him saying: ‘Do it for the first summer, and if you hate it, we’ll get you out of it. You never have to go back. And if you love it, you’ll never wonder, Oh, imagine if I didn’t do this.’

She quickly realized that her dad was right to convince her to do it.

“And honestly, after the second weekend, I was like, ‘I love it,’” she added.

Paige DeSorbo Details Her ‘I Made It’ Moment

This past year has been a whirlwind for DeSorbo, who’s career has truly taken an incredible step forward.

The “Summer House” star just finished a big tour with Hannah Berner for their “Giggly Squad” podcast and the two have a book coming out on April 15.

So, did DeSorbo have one true moment when she realized, “I made it?”

“”When Hannah and I did Giggly Squad at Radio City, I’m not a big crier, but I told Hannah we had to walk out on stage before it filled up. I needed to feel it first before the first time we walked out was to perform the show,” DeSorbo told InStyle in an April 1 interview. “And right as I walked out on stage, I started crying, which is so not me. That was a really big moment for both of us.”

“Being on tour with Hannah for six months straight has made us closer than ever,” she added. “But we also realized we don’t share anything except hair products. That is the only thing she’ll call me and ask, “Do you have hairspray?”
