‘Summer House’ Fans Question Cast Member’s Status For Season 10 Based on 1 Photo - lulu

”Summer House” fans are wondering if Imrul Hassan will return for Season 10–and he chimed in on the situation.

Fans of the Bravo reality show reacted to a photo of the male cast members hanging out with Andy Cohen, seemingly right after the season 9 reunion taping. Hassan was the only male from the show missing from the photo.

On April 25, Jesse Solomon posted the photo on his Instagram story hours after the reunion taping took place. The photo showed Solomon sitting at a table with Carl Radke, West Wilson, Kyle Cooke, and Cohen, with no sign of Hassan in sight. Solomon tagged the West Village bar Corner Bistro for the meetup.

Hassan joined the cast of “Summer House” for Season 9, but he wasn’t seen hanging out with the rest of the cast very much during his debut season.

 It didn’t take long for fans to weigh in on the pic—and Hassan’s possible status on the show.

“No Imrul? Not surprising 🤷🏽‍♀️ #summerhouse,” came a comment from @realmomsofdbravo on Instagram.

“Not loving the Imrul erasure let me tell ya,” another wrote.

“Imruls way off that couch,” another wrote.

“Justice for Imrul!” a fourth commenter chimed in.

Another fan questioned why “no men of color can last on this show.”

Others were disappointed that producers minimized Hassan to an “f-boy narrative” during his first season.  “And nobody even tried to get to know him. I know it’s just a stupid reality show, but this edit was just plain foul,” one viewer wrote.

Hassan answered questions about why he was missing from the boys’ night, but it did little to dispel talk that he could be done with “Summer House.”

In a chat with the Instagram fan account @cici.loves.you, he explained,  “I left early, a  few hours before they wrapped, so that was part of it. I’m gonna chalk it up to that and move on. It’s all good.”

He added, “I’m so glad I did it (the show) and got some publicity and platform for my English school. That was always my big goal in all of this.”

While Hassan’s “Summer House” edit didn’t show much of his life outside of the party house, he founded a school in Bangladesh.

Bravo has not confirmed any casting for the 10^th season of “Summer House.” Filming usually begins in July in New York and the Hamptons.

Jesse Solomon Said Imrul Got a ‘Good’ Edit on ‘Summer House’

When the “Summer House” reunion seating chart was posted by Bravo, Hassan was revealed to be seated the farthest from host Andy Cohen. The cast members with the biggest storylines are usually placed closest to the Bravo host.

In an April 2025 interview on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, cast member Jesse Solomon addressed how Hassan was mostly just shown bringing girls back to his room after a night of partying.

When asked if Hassan was getting an “accurate edit,” Solomon responded, “He’s getting a good edit.”

Solomon agreed that Hassan bringing strangers home instead of forming relationships with the rest of the housemates was accurate as to what took place. “He was friendlier with Carl and Kyle and a little bit, West,” Solomon added. “He and West had some conversations, but conversations with him were always very serious. He wasn’t like an easygoing guy. But he’s a good person.”
