Paige DeSorbo knows exactly what she’s looking for following her breakup with Craig Conover.
On February 5, the ”Summer House” star answered fan questions on an Amazon Livestream and revealed what she is looking for in a guy after ending her three-year relationship with the South Carolina businessman. “For them to go away, is what I’m looking for,” DeSorbo replied. “For them to turn around and not talk to me is probably the number one thing on my list.”
DeSorbo was also asked who she would pick from the “Summer House” cast to be her Valentine this year. “Myself,” she cracked. “That’s like the easiest question ever. I would pick myself. If I could run into my own arms on a beach and live happily ever after with myself, I would.”
DeSorbo broke up with Conover in late November, she shared on the February 3 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast. She also confirmed that she has not moved on with any other guys. “I am single. I don’t have a new boyfriend,” she said.
Paige DeSorbo Has No Interest in Being on a Dating Show
Desorbo talked about her new life as a single woman on the January 15 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast. She shared that she has no interest in going out to clubs in New York City to meet guys. She has not talked about dating apps yet, but her ex Conover has joined the membership-based platform, Raya, Us Weekly reported.
On her Livestream, DeSorbo made it clear she won’t be using her reality TV connections to join a dating show. When asked if she would ever go on the ABC reality show “The Bachelor,” she replied, “Never in my life. I would literally have to take seven beta-blockers. Are you kidding? That would be torturous.”
“And I don’t think I could ever be ‘The Bachelorette’,” she continued. “Because it’s like, 20 straight men in one room is my literal nightmare. I would start crying. I’d be like, ‘Who let you out of the insane asylum? Get back in there!’ So no, I could never.”
Paige Desorbo Admitted She’s Not Ready for Marriage Just Yet
DeSorbo has been vocal about her issues with dating and relationships. In a July 2024 interview on the “LadyGang” podcast, she admitted that she sometimes felt she was “cold” to Conover, who was more of a “hopeless romantic.”
“It’s just [because] I’ve lived in New York City for 10 years,” she explained. “Like, that just is a harder city. Like, I’ve dated the worst people ever. So, I feel like I kind of taught myself how to, like, self-soothe.”
Conover was also persistent about his desire for marriage and kids, but DeSorbo told him she wasn’t ready. “Last time a boyfriend wanted to propose to me, I broke out into hives, and I ran away,” the “Summer House” star shared on the podcast.
