Paige Reveals What Jesse Has Been Texting Her Following Her Split From Craig: "Calm Down" - suong

   

Though Jesse Solomon's flirty friendship with Ciara Miller has been Summer House Season 9's latest hot topic, it wasn't so long ago that Paige DeSorbo was the object of his affection — and it appears history is repeating itself.

While discussing Jesse’s wandering eye — when his new love interest, Lexi Wood, was away for the weekend in Episode 7 — on the Summer House After Show, Paige joked with Ciara and Amanda Batula, "Jesse's a dog ... That is the only way to describe him. If Amanda hinted, even for a second, that her and Kyle [Cooke] might break up, he'd be right in there. Yeah, he's got no loyalty."

So, it wasn't too surprising, then, that Jesse popped back up when Paige broke up with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover shortly after Thanksgiving.

"Jesse literally has texted me, I'm not kidding, four different times being like, 'I'm so excited for this summer,'" newly single Paige revealed on the After Show. "Like, why don't you calm down?"

Then, after Paige captioned a recent social media photo of her cat, Daphne, "Have you ever seen anything more gorgeous?" Jesse took the opportunity to shoot his shot, responding via DM, 'Yes. You,'" Paige shared.  

As Amanda put it, "He's obsessed."

Does Jesse Solomon want to date Paige DeSorbo?

After an After Show producer observed "some chemistry" between Jesse and Paige, he joyfully replied, "So I'm not the only one who sees it?" That's when an earlier Season 9 clip rolled, showing Paige telling him that "in a different timeline," they’d be married.

Describing Paige as "obviously, so hot," Jesse still kept his expectations grounded in reality. "I think Paige would, like, flirt with me, but I don't know if she would, like, actually [date me]," Jesse admitted, before suggesting she might be out of his league. "She's gonna, like, date somebody on the Yankees." 

Naturally, that inspired an idea in pal West Wilson, who chimed in, "Dude, let's hit the cages after this."

Jesse Solomon and Paige DeSorbo's history, explained

Even though Paige and Craig were very much together at the time, Jesse first set his sights on the Giggly Squad podcaster back in Summer House Season 8. He even began flirting with her at the group's annual Fourth of July bash.

"There's so many girls out there that don't have boyfriends, but the best ones typically do, and I'm a killer," he said at the time. "Like, I get with girls. Not like I'd steal your girl, but if there's a cute girl, I'm gonna go after her."

Later in the season when Lindsay Hubbard suggested that Jesse might have "a thing for" Paige, even though she was "taken" by Craig, he insisted that he didn’t feel his flirtations had "crossed any lines."

Though Paige shot down Jesse's playful advances, she didn't exactly mind them either. "Craig should know that other men hit on me," she joked in a Summer House Season 8 After Show interview. "If no one hit on me all summer, I would cry. Like, I'd pack it in ... So, I'm thankful."
