New York Rangers Reportedly Fielding Final Offers for K'Andre Miller Before Free Agency

According to a report from Vince Mercogliano of USA Today, the New York Rangers are busy entertaining offers for defenseman K'Andre Miller. The team is seeking the "final and best" offers before they make a decision as free agency begins on July 1st.K'Andre Miller

The New York Rangers have a difficult decision to make. Former 1st-round pick K'Andre Miller will be dealt to the best suitor for the Blueshirts, as the team has control over his rights as an RFA.
According to Vince Mercogliano of USA Today, GM Chris Drury and the front office are fielding the best and final offers from what we're assuming is 12 to 15 NHL teams interested in the LHD.
However, the suitors remain unidentified, keeping the beginning of the possible trade, which could be finalized soon, a mystery.

NHL Insiders like Larry Brooks said it'd be a foregone conclusion that Miller would be traded at the end of the season.
His lack of progression during the 2024-2025 season left GM Chris Drury hesitant to give him a new deal.
«They don't want to give him term, they've indicated if they sign him to an extension it's not going to be a long-term extension and that's why his name is out there,» Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman said.

The Rangers could lose on a K'Andre Miller if he finds his prime years on his next team, but it could simply be a matter of the team wanting talent that can help them win now, like Vladislav Gavrikov, who could be an option to sign on July 1st.
This season in 74 games with the Rangers, he's tallied 27 points (7-20) and could find himself on a new team come July 1st.
