Jealous, party of one? A new source is accusing Lisa Vanderpump of getting everybody fired from Vanderpump Rules because she felt overshadowed. She worried that her one-time SUR employees were getting more attention than she was.

“All of the cheating and catfighting was taking attention away from Lisa,” an insider revealed. “She wasn’t going to let that happen.”

Let’s take this one with a grain of salt, though. The show was likely raking in big bucks for LVP, who is a savvy businesswoman at heart…

When the show originated 11 years ago as a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff, Lisa was the star. She was the boss and the rest of them worked for her. But as the years went on, Lisa was featured less and less, in favor of the younger cast. Their partying, hooking up and breaking up were just more interesting than Lisa’s cocktail parties and fights with Kyle Richards.

While her staff became social media stars, Lisa’s role on Pump Rules dwindled. RadarOnline says that Lisa had had enough of that. Unable to stand the loss of the spotlight, Lisa allegedly got the entire cast pink-slipped.

Bravo recently announced that when Season 12 returns, a whole new group of servers will be working at SUR. Insiders say that VPR’s Red Wedding stunned OGs Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Scheana Shay. Neither they nor the fans saw it coming.

Having become stars in their own minds, they thought they were “getting raises – not [getting] fired,” said an insider.

“But they should have seen the writing on the wall,” the source added. “Their storylines became the star attraction … to the point where Lisa just … wasn’t on camera much.”

“All the people who have [watched] Lisa on reality shows over the years know her ego wouldn’t stand for second-class status,” the insider continued. “So she used her power as co-executive producer on the show to get rid of the bunch.”

Vanderpump Rules is now streaming on Peacock.
