Love Island: All Stars viewers slam 'boring' episode and plead for an 'interesting' bombshell to enter the villa as they admit they're 'giving up' on series - suong

The new series of Love Island: All Stars is already a week in, with romances formed and broken in the span of days.

But despite a surprise recoupling at the end of the show, some viewers were quick to slam Tuesday's episode as 'boring'.

The episode featured a loved-up Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Curtis Pritchard enjoying their first date, after an evening which saw Casey O'Gorman question Gabby Allen's treatment of him during the It's Giving Gifted game.

Ronnie Vint also confronted Ron Hall over his comments that Elma Pazar overreacted when she learned about his kiss with Kaz Crossley, with Elma herself also berating Ron later in the episode.

Given much of the post-game tension was settled by the time bedtime rolled around, it didn't provide enthralling viewing for some fans, with some also complaining about ITV's move to extend the episode by 20 minutes.

The extension offered time for bombshells Grace Jackson and Ron Hall to reveal which islanders they'd decided to steal, selecting Luca Bish and Kaz respectively.

But some fans still weren't gripped by the episode, with one pleading for an 'interesting' bombshell to head into the villa and shake up the show.

Posts on X included: 'This episode is sooooo dry... pls thrown in an interesting islander;'

'Fully fell asleep and woke up to Ekin-Su and Curtis with alpacas I think its time to give up this season I'm tired of hoping it will get interesting;'

'What was the point of the extra 20 mins, how boring and predictable;'

'This All Stars #LoveIsland is even more boring than the last one. They really need to scrap it next year.'

It came as some fans also clocked that Ekin-Su and Curtis  appear to be more preoccupied with the woes of the rest of the villa, with some claiming they're 'turning into therapists' on the show.

Having offered their advice to a string of other couples since the show started, fans took to social media to claim the pair feel they've 'won the show already.'

During Tuesday's show, Curtis was quick to share his thoughts on Nas Majeed's love triangle with Catherine Agbaje and bombshell Grace.

Meanwhile Ekin-Su had previously weighed in on Olivia Hawkins' feelings for Luca, and in the latest episode, fired a string of questions at her about her relationship with Marcel Somerville.

The pair's behaviour prompted some viewers to complain they should 'mind their own business' and focus on their own romance.

Posts on X included: 'Ekinsu and her partner Curtis want to turn to the Villa therapists. Oh please!!!!

'Ekin errr don't you have business of your own to mind??? lol;'

'Why are Ekin and Curtis moving like they’ve won the show already?'

Despite questions around the advice they were giving to other couples, Ekin-Su and Curtis' romance is still going from strength to strength, as they also enjoyed their first date during Tuesday's show.

Love Island: All Stars continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
