Lala Kent has unfollowed her former assistant and Give Them Lala cohost, Jessica Walter.
After Jessica dropped the first episode of her new podcast, Lala Kent is drawing a line in the sand.
Jessica kept it cute when addressing why she abruptly exited her former position. She didn’t reference a specific moment that contributed to her decision to leave, but she did say she no longer feels supported by the team.
“I think sometimes we invest all of ourselves into a relationship and we give it our all,” Jess begins on The Date My Podcast.
“And at the end of the day, maybe we don’t get in return what we feel we deserve. And what we feel we deserve can be as small as you don’t have my back.”

On Tuesday, January 7, the VPR star was asked to comment on Jessica’s newest endeavor.
“A lot of people are asking about my old assistant,” Lala said during her Amazon Live taping.
“No I did not know she dropped her podcast. No, I have not listened.”
The Bravo star admits to not knowing what her former friend discussed or “how’s she’s describing her.” Though she did allude to Jessica knowing the truth about how and why they consciously uncoupled.
“We did become very close, but at the end of the day she was my employee first and foremost. She felt she no longer got what she needed out of this job.”
“We all have that right. It sounds like her podcast came out and I wish it nothing but all the success in the world. I truly mean that.”
The same day Lala acknowledged her former bestie’s new podcast, she also unfollowed her on Instagram. The Give Them Lala account no longer follows her as well, but Lala’s brother, Easton, still does.
