Find out what the RHOBH ex-husband and his wife, Brittany Pattakos, named their second baby.
Dr. Paul Nassif’s heart “has never been fuller.”
There's no question that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ex-husband has been on cloud nine since he and his wife, Brittany Pattakos Nassif, welcomed baby No. 2. A day after announcing the happy news, the couple took a moment to reflect on the family addition and share more details about their bundle of joy.
“Mother and son are safe and sound; our hearts have never been fuller,” Paul and Brittany captioned a January 10 photo of the precious baby. “Our family is complete and we’re so excited to begin this new chapter together. Thank you for all of the love, prayers and well wishes. We’ll keep you all posted!”
Paul and Brittany said their baby was born at 12:59 a.m. on January 9, weighing in at 9 lbs, 10 oz. They also confirmed the boy was named Paul Michael Nassif Jr., after his father.
Months before Brittany gave birth to her son, Paul took to Instagram seeking baby name suggestions. His longtime friend/colleague Dr. Terry Dubrow immediately hopped in the comments section to share some ideas. And we have to wonder if he influenced the parents' decision.
“Paul, Paul Jr., Paul 2nd, Pauley, Paulo,” The Real Housewives of Orange County husband suggested.
A day after the name reveal, Brittany returned to social media to share a sweet moment between Paul Jr. and her young daughter, Paulina Anne Nassif, whom she and Paul welcomed in October 2020. The photo showed Brittany with the newborn in her arms while Paulina held the baby's feeding bottle.
“My two babies finally got to meet!” the mom captioned the Instagram. “Paulina is so happy!”
Paul is also a dad to three adult sons — 21-year-old Gavin Nassif and 18-year-old twins Christian and Collin Nassif. The plastic surgeon shares the boys with RHOBH alum Adrienne Maloof, who he divorced in 2012 after a decade of marriage. Adrienne discussed her relationship with Paul during a 2020 episode of Life After Bravo, saying she and her ex were on much better terms since their rocky split.
“Now we are both very good friends, we care about each other,” she said. “I believe we really worked hard, we worked at it to make things right for our children… We had to do a lot of counseling. It was years of counseling and years of co-parenting… We both had to learn how to be adults for our children. And I think we’re role models now.”
