Bronwyn Newport had a scary run in with man’s best friend.
The RHOSLC newcomer opened up about the attack via an Instagram Q&A on Friday night.
“The dog we found out had serious health issues that weren’t being addressed and was causing pain and this outburst,” the fashion lover begins.
To accompany the story, Bronwyn posted an image of her forearm with the injuries she sustained.
“I have six dogs, most all rescues, and it refocused me on their training, my competence with them and ensuring I’m even more proactive when people are around my dogs to ask first if they are ok with being around dogs and ensuring my dogs are respectful of their space. That would have changed what happened to me.”
She concluded, “I also recommend being up to date on shots. Getting stitches, shots and many many wounds cleaned all at once was harder than it needed to be.”

Though the attack did not happen on camera, Bronwyn’s treatment of her pooch did come under fire.
During the most recent episode, fans noticed the dog mom picking up her dog in a way that could be potentially harmful.
The Bravo star also addressed those comments saying on the same IG story:
We’re glad that Bronwyn is okay after the attack! It’s even more amazing that she’s not making any generalizations about dogs or mentioning the breed that attacked her. It seems like an intentional choice and a smart one at that.
