If you needed any proof that the country music world is small, look no further than Maren Morris' connection to Morgan Wade.
On the April 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, "The Middle" singer revealed how she knows Kyle Richards' close friend.
"She actually, randomly enough, opened for my ex-husband on his tour a few years ago," Maren said, referring to her ex/fellow singer Ryan Hurd. “We have a ton of mutual friends, she’s so sweet. Very talented."
Maren, who is a fan of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said she was surprised when she saw Morgan pop up on Season 13 back in 2024.
"I was very shocked to see her on the show because I’m such a Beverly Hills fan and had met Kyle and Mauricio [Umansky] years prior," Maren continued. "And then all of a sudden, Morgan’s on TV and I was like, ‘Holy s--t. It’s Nashville on Beverly Hills!' But she’s lovely."

During an appearance on the late night talk series in November 2023, Maren revealed that she had struck up a friendship with Kyle as they both navigated their respective separations. (Kyle confirmed her split from Mauricio in October 2023.)
"I've been texting with Kyle, so I feel for her for sure," Maren said about watching Kyle go through the split on Season 13.
The "Girl" songstress continued, "But, yeah, she's obviously going through something, and we're watching it through this lens of public whatever, but I think, you know, she's a human being [who's] going through a tough thing."
Maren also shared her thoughts on Morgan.
"I do, yeah, I know Morgan," Maren explained. "Yeah, she's great. She is."
