Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent aren’t romantically involved. But are they open to changing that one day?

The pair tackled the topic during a bonus episode of the Give Them Lala podcast, as they faced a wave of since-debunked romance rumors. The June 23 Q&A included a question about Tom and Lala’s perceived “chemistry,” with a fan asking if the Vanderpump Rules alums have ever considered dating one another.

“Can I tell you, Schwartzy, we got this so much [Vanderpump Rules] Season 11,” Lala said. “And I didn’t realize it because I avoid the comment section, but it was every time I went on a podcast or anything like that. People always said that… We talked about it. I feel like I would be way too high-strung and intense for you.”

Tom agreed, saying he was also aware of the “chemistry” claims, but wasn’t convinced he and Lala would mesh well… at least not romantically.

“Remember, these were your words, you would chew me up,” he said with a laugh. “No, I think you said, ‘I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast.’”

Lala recalled her previous comments on an Amazon Live stream, when she was asked if she could see herself ever dating Tom.

“I was like, if Schwartz liked to go out a little bit or a lot of bit less, and I liked to go out a lot of bit more, who knows?” she said.

Tom agreed, but emphasized he also enjoyed cozy, low-key nights.

“I love staying in, by the way,” he added. “There’s nothing I enjoy more in this world than staying in and cocooning. I love being in my bed, cozy.”

Weeks after his Give Them Lala appearance, Tom invited the titular host onto his Detox Retox podcast, where they addressed an online report about their rumored romance.

“What the f*** is going on?” Lala asked in the June 30 broadcast. “They chose a photo of me pregnant, so it looks like I’m also carrying your baby. I’m sweating.”

After joking about a “hard launch,” Tom revealed some of his closest friends had also questioned the nature of his and Lala’s relationship, as the dating whispers were gaining more and more traction.

“I wake up today, and the first thing I see from my dear friend is a text. ‘Hit me up! What’s up with you and Lala?’” Tom recalled. "And then I got another text from somebody else.”

Lala went on to say she hadn’t “thought about men in a romantic way in a very long time,” and was in no rush to start something serious.

“I feel like it will come one day when it’s supposed to,” the mother of two explained. “I could be fine by myself. This is just me being open to whatever the universe places me in. We’re going to know that’s where we are supposed to be.”

Lala made similar comments in a recent interview with Parents magazine, saying she had no interest in dating at the moment, as motherhood has made her more cautious when it comes to romance.

“I like to say I've been talking to men because dating means that there's a potential for it to go somewhere. And I just don't want that right now," she told the outlet. "If I start dating, you're taking me away from my children physically. But what's even worse? If my heart gets involved and you do something to make it hurt, you will take me mentally away from my children. That means I could be in the same room as my kids, and I'm not present. I just cannot allow it."
