Tom Brady is about to begin his "rookie year" as an NFL broadcaster.
Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, is set to call the Week 1 clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Sept. 8.
Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with the FOX Sports, replacing Greg Olsen, another ex-NFL star turned commentator.
Brady, who has rehearsed "a lot" for his debut, has said in an interview with Curt Menefee that he hopes people tuning in will see how much he loves football.
"How do I understand the mechanics of broadcasting and network television?" Brady said. "As I've kind of worked my way through that process, it has come back to just be myself. To clearly see what I see on the field. And then what people hopefully will see is my love of the game."
