AFTER being dumped from the Love Island villa last night, Dejon Noel-Williams and Meg Moore have made a big change to their social media since being back on the outside world.
The pair have been subject to plenty of criticism from their fellow islanders and ITV2 viewers over the past few weeks and have now turned off their comments on social media.
This means that fans will not be able to comment on their posts on Instagram and share their opinions of them.
The move comes after fans revealed they don’t think the pair will last on the outside world and will split up straight away.
Taking to X, one viewer penned: “Lmaoo they aren’t lasting outside the villa. Meg is gon bite off Dej’s head and blame him for their dump #LoveIsland."
Another commented: “Dejon will dump Meg yards from the front door #loveisland."
While a third added: “#LoveIsland Dejon and Meg are definitely NOT going to last on the outside. He‘ll dump her within days."
However, the couple clearly don’t agree with the viewers’ sentiments and revealed their plan to “prove everyone wrong”.
When asked what was next for the pair, Meg responded: “Proving to everyone we are actually going to stay together!
“Spending time together and introducing one another to family and friends.”
Dejon, who apologised for his behaviour, echoed her words, adding: “I definitely want to have a conversation with her family, get to know them and have her meet my family so they can see the real us.
“A lot of the Islanders saw how genuine we were and I have no doubt it will be like that with our families.
“After that, hopefully we can move in together as I can’t imagine not living with her.”
Meg and Dejon, who got into an argument this week, were voted out after former islanders delivered their brutal verdict by returning for a face-to-face vote.
Viewers watched as the ex-Islanders stood up to give their reasons on why Dejon and Meg weren't compatible.
After much back and forth, Meg and Dejon received 10 votes, while Angel and Ty received 8 votes.
Some branded their romance as "staged" and expressed doubt about the authenticity of Dejon's feelings - after repeatedly insisting he was ‘open.'
And some fellow Islanders accused Dejon of "game playing" and wanting to appear genuine just for the cameras.
Maya Jama also called him out for his behaviour and even took a brutal dig at Dejon, saying: "Dejon you’re obviously very aware of the cameras."
The two paired up from day one but found themselves at loggerheads due to Dejon’s flirty antics with numerous bombshells throughout the series.
They went exclusive just days after he returned from Casa Amor and shortly after, Dejon asked Meg to be his girlfriend, making them the only couple from this series to make it to this step in their relationship.
In tonight’s final, Jamie and Yasmin, Cach and Toni, Harry and Shakira and Ty and Angel will battle it out to be crowned this year’s winners and take home the £50,000 cash prize.
