JJettas now has more receiving yards than any other player in their first five seasons — with seven games still to play.
Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson has set another NFL record.
The 25-year-old wide receiver officially surpassed Torry Holt’s mark of 6,784 yards for the most receiving yards in a player’s first five years in the league on a 25-yard catch in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. After that catch, he had five receptions for 71 yards on the day.
Jefferson entered the day with 6,730 yards — 13 yards behind Randy Moss and 54 yards shy of Holt on the list — but jumped them both in just his 70th career game (with seven games still left this season). Moss and Holt both set their marks in 80 games.

Nicknamed “JJettas,” Jefferson continues to soar to record heights.
He’s already set numerous other records in his career, including:
- Fastest player in history to 30 100-yard receiving games (62 games),
- Most catches (324) and receiving yards (4,825) in NFL history in a player’s first three seasons,
- Most receiving yards in NFL history in a player’s first four seasons (5,512), and
- Most career games with at least 150 receiving yards in a player’s first four seasons (11).
He’s also already fourth in receiving yards in Vikings history.
There aren't many superlatives left to describe Jefferson and it seems like there aren't any more records he can break, but at his pace, he'll continue to make history for years to come.
