In a Southern Charm preview, Craig Conover accused JT Thomas of calling Patricia Altschul a “b**ch” after JT gifted the 83-year-old a cane. In another clip, Venita Aspen shared how she and JT grew close.
A recent trailer hinted at a romance between Venita and JT, who joined the cast last season. But at the time, JT was heavily interested in Taylor Ann Green. He also was good friends with Craig, though it now appears they’re feuding.
In a bizarre dinner scene, JT accused Craig of lying.
“Craig, you lied, and you offended Miss Patricia,” said JT, via @queensofbravo on Instagram. “I didn’t say that word about her.”
“Yeah you did,” Craig responded. “You said she was a b**ch of the cup when you handed her the cane.”
Later in the scene, newbie Salley Carson stood up from her chair and said, “I swear to God, I’m gonna hit him!”
“Well, then f**king answer this!” Whitney Sudler-Smith eventually yelled.
“I did last night and I got handly shut down,” said Rodrigo Reyes.
“Did you say the word affair?” Madison LeCroy asked.
“You just sat there as quiet as a church mouse!” Shep Rose told someone.
“Don’t you dare compare the two!” Austen Kroll said, pointing his finger.
At one point, Craig said “f**k you guys” and stormed out.
In another scene, JT gifted Patricia the aforementioned cane. This offended Patricia, who said she didn’t need it, and she eventually walked away from him. She later told Rodrigo that she felt like telling JT to take the cane and “shove it.”
In a separate preview shared by Bravo TV, Venita revealed how she got close with JT.
“The first time JT and I bonded was when we were in Jamaica,” she said, alluding to the cast trip in season nine. “Ever since then, we talk every day, which is kind of wild to say. But I feel like we’re just really close.”
In a clothing store, JT tried on a jacket before Venita told him, “Ooh, that looks yummy on you.”
“Yummy! Did you just call me yummy?” he responded.
“I mean, yeah. You look nice,” she said.
During a confessional interview, JT addressed their friendship.
“You can’t teach chemistry. It’s either there or it’s not,” said the star. “And it’s there.”
Bios for the upcoming season teased more about Venita and JT’s friendship.
“After breaking up with boyfriend Manny last year, Venita realizes that she and JT have an undeniable attraction and connection that goes deeper than most. She starts to question her feelings toward him amidst preserving her own friendships with those he may not be on the best terms with,” said the bio. “JT continues to be an outspoken rabble-rouser, stirring up controversy wherever he goes. Despite his best intentions, his rapport with many in the group starts to go up in flames. However, Venita turns out to be his constant and offers a shoulder to lean on as he tries to mend friendships.”
The new season of Southern Charm airs on Thursday, December 5, on Bravo.
