Tom Sandoval is thrilled that Ariana Madix is moving on from their nine-year relationship.
Following a series of photos and videos of Ariana and fitness trainer Daniel Wai kissing at Coachella over the weekend and at LAX on Monday, the Vanderpump Rules star, whose mother Terri was reportedly in the loop with his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss, admitted that his ex’s new romance makes him “really happy.”
Weeks after it was revealed that Raquel had traveled with Sandoval to his hometown of St. Louis in December 2022, when his family had no interest in meeting her, a report from TMZ on April 19 has shared that Raquel also visited the area in January.
According to sources, Raquel had an awkward first encounter with Sandoval’s mom after she, Sandoval, and some friends arrived at her home after the bar where they were hanging out suddenly closed due to a potential ice storm. And while Terri was reportedly unhappy about their romance, she was cordial toward the former pageant queen and allowed her and Sandoval to stay in a room together that night.
As information continues to be shared in regard to Sandoval and Raquel’s affair, all while she seeks mental health treatment at an unknown location (although there have been doubters), Sandoval has been traveling with his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, most recently surfacing at LAX on Tuesday.
In a video shared by TMZ on April 18, Sandoval was seen arriving at the airport for a flight when a cameraman began to question him about “Scandoval,” asking him if he felt it was time for people to move on.
“Yeah. I think they should,” he replied.
“It’s ridiculous … the people that are perpetuating it the most,” he continued, confirming it was the girls of the show who have done so.
When the cameraman then asked Sandoval about the photos of Ariana and Daniel, he revealed he’s glad she’s moving on, noting that he hasn’t spoken to her about the relationship yet.
“Yes! I love that,” he proclaimed. “I do [want her to move on], I really do … I’m really happy.”
Addressing his recent rant against Miraval Resort, who he claimed alluded to his visit last week amid rumors that Raquel is at a spa, Sandoval slammed the facility as “unprofessional.”
“I think they were unprofessional and I think that was pretty tacky for a place of that nature to be … of that caliber, to do things like,” he explained.
Also during the interview, as he confirmed he was not on his way to visit Raquel, Sandoval was asked how she’s doing.
“I don’t know, man. There’s no comment on that one,” he replied.
