Fans could see some familiar “Vanderpump Rules” stars back on Bravo in the future.
In a February 2025 interview on the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, host Tamra Judge asked Bravo producer Alex Baskin if there was a chance that any former “Vanderpump Rules” cast members would potentially get a spin-off. Baskin paused for a very long time before replying, “Um…. well, I think all things are possible.”
“There’s nothing to announce,” he clarified. “Obviously we did that successfully on ‘The Valley’ and that second season is insane by the way, so very excited about that. But that’s what I would say, I mean obviously, look, the Bravo universe is strong, you know, and sort of as Denise [Richards] proves out as well there’s always an appetite to revisit the lives of the people who inhabit it. And so, you know all things are possible.”
In March 2024, original “Vanderpump Rules” cast members Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute headlined the successful spinoff “The Valley.” Former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”‘ star Denise Richards also has a spinoff reality show, “Denise Richards and Her Wild Things,” set to debut on Bravo.
In November, Bravo announced that “Vanderpump Rules” would return for season 12 with an all-new cast. The final season of the “OG” version of the show starred Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, James Kennedy, and Lisa Vanderpump. Only Vanderpump will return for season 12.
Alex Baskin Does Not Consider VPR Season 12 to Be a Reboot

While the changes to “Vanderpump Rules” have been described as a “reboot,” Baskin told “Two Ts” he does not think of it that way. “We are getting set, we’re really excited about it,” he said. “We are not endeavoring to make the same show we made before, so it’s a new group all of whom are very interconnected and live together, work together, kind of figuring things out together. “
Baskin noted that the new show will be “a different expression” of the original premise of “Vanderpump Rules,” which was set at Vanderpump’s SUR Lounge in West Hollywood, just as the new version will be,
“It’s a lot of fun, so we’re trying to embrace what was great about the original, but I don’t really consider it a reboot. I think that’s the word that’s been thrown around,” Baskin said. “My view is it’s a brand-new group that work at the restaurant and so it’s a new series that carries on the legacy of the original.”
Lisa Vanderpump Said the New ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Will Be ‘Very Different’

Vanderpump has also noted that the 12th season of the show will differ greatly from the past few seasons, which featured most of the SURvers long gone from her restaurant, many of them with their own businesses, podcasts, and more.
In February 2025, Vanderpump told Us Weekly, “I am sure it’s gonna be very different with these young minxes when they get to work, but we shall see.”
“I got some very interesting characters for sure, “ she teased of the new cast.
