Love Island: All Stars' Tina Stinnes reveals Scott Thomas' sweet promise to her when he quit the show - suong

Tina Stinnes has revealed that Scott Thomas promised to see her 'on the outside' when the Love Island All Stars contestant dramatically quit the show.

The villa was left in tears after the singleton, 36, ended his stint on the show, having failed to form a genuine connection with Tina, 29.

Tina was then dumped along with Chuggs Wallis, 26, on Monday night's installment and took to The Morning After podcast show to shed light on her relationship with Scott.

Host Amy Hart asked her: 'When Scott came on to the podcast, he didn't rule out you guys meeting up on the outside. Is that something that you would be interested in?'

After bursting into laughter, Tina replied: 'I mean, look of course, me and Scott always said it before.

'This is where my confusion was as well, a lot of it, because he always said we would continue to date on the outside so I was like, "alright", and then obviously all that happened and I was like, "well you don't want to date me? I'm so confused."

'But then you know obviously when we left he was like, "obviously we're going to see each other on the outside all the time, you know, we're still going to speak".

'And I was like "100 per cent" - 100 per cent he was a huge part of my journey and, you know I have no bad blood or anything towards him, I literally think he's so lovely.

'It's just it wasn't right for him and he needed to leave and I completely understand that.'

Amy then joked: 'He doesn't want to date on the inside where literally your whole job is like sitting on a beanbag.'

In the immediate aftermath of her shock dumping, Tina reacted to her time with Scott in the villa.

She said: 'It was a whirlwind, a whole experience for me with a lot of emotions. I was devastated.

'Even if we weren't going to continue as a couple, even to just have that person that you've spent so much time with not being there, it was hard, but I completely understood his decision and respected it 100 per cent.

'I mean "shoulda woulda coulda"! But everyone's going through their own things in their own head and you can't fault someone for what they're going through and staying true to themselves ultimately.

'I'd love to meet Scott when I'm home. I said I would date him before but I think that's down to him now! I'm so grateful for the connection that I had with him and he was a huge part of my journey.'

Tina also reacted to the public's decision to boot her from the show, along with Chuggs - who she had couple up but not formed a connection with.

She said: 'Absolutely [I was expecting it], I was happy with the decision of everyone in such solid couples. It did make sense and I would have been annoyed if it went any other way to be honest.

'I wouldn't have liked it if either of the other couples went instead because I think they have something strong; a relationship that I'd like to see them continue. For me it was just a friendship.

'[Chuggs and I] have some mutual friends and we live around the corner, so we'll definitely stay friends, sometimes you just don't have that spark, and I didn't want to force something.'
