"Vanderpump Rules: Former flames Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix petition trial in $2 million Los Angeles mansion battle"

VANDERPUMP Rules stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix's court battle is raging forward as both have now asked to go to trial, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

Ariana, 38, sued her ex-boyfriend Tom, 40, earlier this year to force the sale of their $2 million Los Angeles home.Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix's legal dispute over the sale of their home is heating up
Ariana, who refused to discuss the ongoing case at the VPR reunion, filed the lawsuit claiming 'discord exists' between them

In new court documents exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, the Vanderpump Rules stars have decided to continue their months-long battle, and neither party has backed down.

Ariana and Tom filed separate case management statements on May 17 before their conference scheduled for June.

In both filings, they each demanded a nonjury trial, claiming that the dispute would take one to two days to hash out in court.

Ariana reiterated that "discord exists" between them, which has resulted in a "negative effect on the ownership of the Property" and her "enjoyment of her interest in the Property."

However, the Single AF Cocktails author noted that she intends to file a motion for summary interlocutory judgment, presumably hoping that the spat will be resolved before trial.

An interlocutory judgment entails a decision from the court made before trial.

She also said that she could possibly file a motion or motions to compel Tom's responses for written discovery, which he noted that he would submit, along with depositions, by December 10, 2024.

The Tom Sandoval And The Most Extras frontman, for his part, acknowledged in his statement that "discord exists" as well.

He informed the court that he was "seeking an accounting" before any sale and/or purchase of her interest in the property.

Without giving further detail, Tom and Ariana informed the court that they have "met and conferred," but the circumstances of their most recent discussion are unclear.

As of now, no mediation session has been scheduled, nor has a settlement conference.

NOT MESSING AROUND
Ariana has sought help from the court to determine the equitable allocation of sale proceeds from a partition by sale of their once-shared Los Angeles home.

She is also asking for the payment of debt involved with the partition costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees and title expenses.

Tom filed his response on February 23, claiming a partition by sale of the property should not be granted.

He claimed that Ariana "did not act reasonably and in good faith" when filing the lawsuit against him.

He previously remarked to cameras that he hoped they could come to a "reasonable agreement" and that they could "figure it out without any kind of judgment."

In a Bravo After Show, he claimed he "paid the bills for the house for the past nine months" and that Ariana "doesn't clean" and doesn't change a paper towel roll, empty the dishwasher, or even water the plants.

However, Ariana has argued that she has "paid for the majority of stuff" in the house and even had the interior designer they worked with, Lucinda Pace, help calculate how much each item was worth.

When it came time to film the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion, Ariana refused to mention their court battle since she was not able to discuss legal matters on TV.

MOVING ON
Two months after taking action in court, Ariana purchased a new home for $1.6 million - a three-bedroom, two-bath mansion.

Her abode is located just over six miles away from the home she once shared with her boyfriend of nine years.

The U.S. Sun reported the Love Island host took out a $800,000 loan from a mortgage company.

During the April 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ariana revealed she is living in her new home, but said that it's actually "empty" at the moment.

She also said that she has no immediate plans to settle down in New York City where her boyfriend, Daniel Wai, lives.

She's also preparing for the grand opening of her and pal Katie Maloney's sandwich shop, Something About Her, and then will be returning to Broadway's Chicago play as Roxie Hart this summer.

Tom, for his part, is on tour with his band around the country as the cast is on a break since next season has been put on pause.
