VANDERPUMP Rules has left fans turning to Jersey Shore over Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval drama.

On Tuesday, the Vanderpump Rules reunion special aired unseen footage including a hot mic moment with Ariana's ex Tom, 40.
"It felt very pointed towards me," she said during the podcast.
"It felt like, 'Well we have her trapped in this room now."
"We didn't get what we wanted to get, this like – some sort of tearful, whatever the hell," Ariana continued.

"We didn't get to break her down IRL (in real life), in the moment, so we're gonna retaliate by doing it right now in a place where she's contractually obligated to be here and try to force this moment now.'"
"And it's like, great, I cried. Are you guys happy now?" Ariana closed.
In March 2023, Ariana split with Tom after discovering his cheating ways.

And now, in an online thread on X, formerly on Twitter, viewers compared Bravo's treatment of Ariana to MTV's recent reunion between exes Ronnie Ortiz-Margo and Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola.
The on-and-off couple who dated during Season 1 of Jersey Shore and later broke up during the January 2010 reunion episode while on live camera.
"[MTV] brought back Ron, but did not force Sammi (who has not been on the show nor in contact with Ron for like a decade) to have interactions with Ron AT ALL. They prioritize respecting her boundaries," one fan pointed out.
"The Jersey Shore cast didn’t make Sammi film with Ron. They respected her boundaries. The Pump Rules cast should take note, in my opinion," a second fan noted.
"The Jersey Shore people actually love another, like they actually respect and love Sam, so they’d never push her to do something that would ruin her peace," a third fan mentioned.
"I can tell you hands down the producers and entire staff on Jersey Shore is beyond professional and SO much better than the producers on Pump Rules," a fourth person wrote.
