UFC Star Micheal Chandler sends New York Rangers rookie a shocking message

   

New York Rangers rookie sensation Matt Rempe has gained a lot attention from some of the biggest UFC stars.

Moments before the UFC309 event that's hosted at Madison Square Garden, the mixed martial arts athletes reacted to some fights involving New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe, and gave their honest opinions on him.

"73, holler at me, dude. We should do some training together." 👀

Ahead of fight night at MSG, we asked the stars of #UFC309 to react to some of Matt Rempe's NHL fights 👊

 

 

One particular UFC star Michael Chandler was impressed with Matt Rempe and his fighting abilities, and would like to organize a training session with the 22-year old enforcer.

"73, holler at me, dude. We should do some training together," Chandler's message to Rempe.

Ever since, Rempe played his first games with the New York Rangers last season, he instantly became a fan favourite as he never backed down from some of the biggest heavyweights in the National Hockey League.

During the offseason, Matt Rempe with trained with former legendary NHL enforcer Georges Laraque, with hopes of improving his fighting technique, but some would say there's still room for improvement so it's not the worst idea for him to reach out to Micheal Chandler.

Ultimately only time will tell if Rempe will accept the offer and reach out, but it would definitely benefit his fighting abilities to work with a UFC star next offseason.
