Married to Medicine Season 10 has been full of ups and downs. Although the drama between Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford has recently taken center stage, we can’t forget about Quad Webb’s beef with Toya Bush-Harris.
During the first half of the season, viewers watched Toya and Quad speak about their issues with each other leading up to their explosive dinner in wine country, also known as Napa Valley.
After constantly questioning whether Quad truly wanted a friendship with the women in the group, many of them, including Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Heavenly, and Toya, asked the M2M OG cast member to leave the cast trip. Since then, watchers have voiced their opinions about this circle of doctors and doctors’ wives, forcing Quad, arguably the series’ most entertaining star, off the show. But Toya isn’t taking the criticism sitting down.
Toya spills the tea about kicking Quad out of Napa Valley
“This was not about pushing anyone off the show,” the reality star told OK. “It was really just about having a genuine friendship with someone because once it gets to a place where you have people on the show and they have ulterior motives, it’s almost like solvency.”
Toya and Quad have had their fair share of feuds throughout the years, but things peaked during the last few seasons after Quad alleged Toya had been unfaithful to her partner, Eugene Harris.
Regarding a potential relationship between these two Bravo stars in the future, Toya doesn’t sound too hopeful.
“I’ve been the butt of a lot of negativity,” she said. “Even having to explain to my children why someone who I’m saying is my friend on the show would say that my husband and I have a relationship where I’m not faithful. That’s crazy because my children are teenagers. They have genuine questions. It broke my heart.”
“They’ve now come to the conclusion that if it can happen to me, it can happen to them,” she says. “It starts from having no relationship.”
Quad and Toya will face off at the upcoming Married to Medicine Season 10 reunion. In the meantime, you can continue watching every Sunday on Bravo at 9/8c.
