VANDERPUMP Rules exes Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix's house battle will not be resolved any time soon, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
Ariana, 38, and Tom, 40, are embroiled in an ongoing nasty court battle to force the sale of their $2 million Los Angeles home after the Broadway star sued her ex-boyfriend earlier this year.
The VPR stars had a hearing the morning of Monday, June, 3.
However, they did not attend the hearing and rather it was both parties' attorneys who appeared virtually.
According to a Los Angeles court clerk who spoke to The U.S. Sun, the attorneys informed the judge that they intend on participating in a private mediation, although details were not given.
Their final status conference has been scheduled for nearly two years from now on February 5, 2026.
Following this date, the parties will face off in court a few days later.
A jury trial has been scheduled for February 17, 2026.
The amount of days it is estimated to take has not been stated, although it can be presumed that the issue at hand could be resolved in a day in court.
In terms of other upcoming dates, Ariana and Tom's attorneys were given an additional 30 days to post a jury fee deposit or the jury fee shall be deemed waived.
It appears this case may not play out in future seasons of Vanderpump Rules - amid Season 12's delay - since the court made it clear that rules must be followed no matter what.
"Counsel are directed
to comply with the local rules when preparing this case for trial," a June 3rd court doc stated.
The attorneys were also ordered to "personally appear at the final status conference and bring their exhibits and motions and booklets to the court."
The U.S. Sun previously reported that the stars filed separate case management statements on May 17 before their June hearing.
In both filings, they each demanded a nonjury trial, claiming that the dispute would take one to two days to hash out in court.
Ariana stated that "discord exists" between them, which has resulted in a "negative effect on the ownership of the Property" and her "enjoyment of her interest in the Property."
However, the Single AF Cocktails author noted that she intends to file a motion for summary interlocutory judgment (a decision from the court made before trial), presumably hoping that the spat will be resolved before their now 2026 trial.
She also said that she could possibly file a motion or motions to compel Tom's responses for written discovery, which he noted that he would submit, along with depositions, by December 10, 2024.
TOM VS ARIANA
What's going on in the court has yet to be addressed in detail on VPR.
The former couple informed Andy Cohen during the three-part reunion that they could not discuss details because it was an ongoing legal dispute.
They did get into an emotional argument, in which Ariana felt like she was "trapped" and claimed Tom was "acting" since he allegedly never tried to apologize for his affair with Rachel Leviss to her away from cameras.
In January, months after VPR wrapped filming, Ariana filed a complaint, seeking help from the court to determine the equitable allocation of sale proceeds from a partition by sale of their once-shared Los Angeles home.
She is also asking for the payment of debt involved with the partition costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees and title expenses.
Tom filed his response on February 23, claiming a partition by sale of the property should not be granted.
He claimed that Ariana "did not act reasonably and in good faith" when filing the lawsuit against him.
He previously remarked to cameras that he hoped they could come to a "reasonable agreement" and that they could "figure it out without any kind of judgment."
MOVING ON
Two months after taking action in court, Ariana purchased a new home for $1.6 million - a three-bedroom, two-bath mansion.
The U.S. Sun reported the Love Island host took out a $800,000 loan from a mortgage company.
During the April 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ariana revealed she is living in her new home, but said that it's actually "empty" at the moment.
She also said that she has no immediate plans to settle down in New York City where her boyfriend, Daniel Wai, lives.
Since the new season of VPR won't be filmed until after the summer, as previously reported, Ariana is now focused on her and pal Katie Maloney's sandwich shop, Something About Her, which they officially opened on May 22.
She is also preparing for her return to Broadway's Chicago play as Roxie Hart this summer.
Tom, for his part, is on tour with his band around the country.
