Tom Brady worries fans with insensitive comment about warfare on the eve of Veterans Day in latest on-air gaffe

Tom Brady's latest on-air gaffe has some fans worried, as he made an insensitive comment about warfare on the eve of Veterans Day.

While calling the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against the San Francisco 49ers, a matchup with his former team and hometown squad facing, Brady went out of his way to compare football to weaponry.

Brady has had a few on-air mishaps as he goes through his first season as Fox's primary football color commentator on a 10-season, $375million contract.

'There’s four guys right there, one grenade could have killed them all,' Brady said.

Here are what fans who were watching the game said about Brady's comment.

Tom Brady receives backlash for calling Buffalo Bills QB THIS word

Brady has been paired since the beginning of the season with Kevin Burkhardt, who has attempted to build chemistry in the broadcast booth with the seven-time Super Bowl winner.

Last week, Brady opined about the officiating during the Detroit Lions win over the Green Bay Packers, which some feared would come with a fine. Brady went unpunished.

These kinds of mistakes are not uncommon for a first-time broadcaster. Yet with Brady's prominent role, fans are hoping he can improve soon.
