Tom Brady's Urgent Message for Jalen Hurts After Super Bowl 59

Tom Brady becomes most sacked quarterback in NFL history as Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffer third straight defeat | CNNIt was all Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night as they marched to an impressive 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, led by star quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia defense, who stifled Patrick Mahomes, sacking him a career-high six times.

However, when plays needed to be made, Hurts made them. He finished the game completing 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed 11 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Following the game, Hurts was awarded Super Bowl MVP and sat down for an interview with former NFL legend and seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady, who called his first Super Bowl with Fox Sports. Brady shared some key advice with Hurts after his "LFG" Player of the Game performance.

"I'm so happy for you... don't let that jersey out of your sight." Brady said. "I had a few of them stolen over the years, so keep track of that."

Throughout all of Brady's memorable moments in the Super Bowls he played in, he also faced some drama—specifically with his jerseys from both Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl XLIX being stolen as part of an elaborate heist. Thankfully, the FBI was able to recover and return them, but Brady made sure to pass along some advice to Hurts to prevent him from falling into the same trap.

Hurts had a tremendous game from start to finish, silencing his critics who have often scrutinized his style of play—whether it’s his arm talent or his ability to perform on the biggest stage. Whatever the doubt, Hurts put it all to rest on Sunday night, delivering when it mattered most, and capturing his first Lombardi Trophy and the second in Eagles franchise history.
